But that does not make sense logically Clarky. Nadal has been making all of the finals pretty much in the most important events along with Djokovic so if Djokovic's level drops a little or Djokovic fails to make the final, who is the likeliest player to benefit? Nadal of course. It is only common sense. If Nadal was not making the finals I would say you are correct but he has been making all of the finals in the last how many slams? Take Djokovic out of those finals or have Djokovic's level drop or have Nadal figure out a way to beat the 2011 Djokovic and Nadal wins. It is simple.

The bandwagon will sit somewhere in the area where it does whenever Federer and Djokovic play a major semifinal. All the knives come out at that point. The bandwagon also mysteriously vanishes whenever Djokovic is playing an opponent not named Nadal.

Do you really believe Nadal will keep making all of those finals to even have a chance at winning anything? He already failed to make the final at either IW or Miami like he did last year(and I said he would not repeat those finals and I was right). He had a golden opportunity to actually win something off of clay for the first time in nearly 2 years, but he lost in pathetic fashion in the semis at IW. That was a huge chance missed considering Djesus had lost earlier in the day to Isner, and he still went out there and laid an egg. Djesus or no Djesus he won't win a thing if he is unable to even make it through his draw. Just wait until he fails to defend his clay titles/finals. Will that finally convince people that he is through? I knew it last year when he starting struggling with everybody and their dog even in clay tournaments.

And Nadal is not a talented ballstriker no matter how many rpm's he puts in the ball. If you want to see a talented ballstriker, look at Fed,Nalby or Djesus. Those guys can easily change the direction of the ball, keep the ball deep, and take the ball early. Nadal cannot do any of those things, rpm's or not.

It would be hilarious if when all is said and done:

Federer retires with 18 slams.

Djokovic retires with 12 slams.

Nadal retires with 10 slams.

Maybe Clarky is right and Nadal will not win anymore slams.

How many players lost 3 slam finals in a row to the same man but then went on to win a slam(s) after that?

Which Open era do you mean? Surley, not the same Open Era Laver played in so, which is it?

You are right. Last time Nadal didn't make a slam final without being injured was in 2009.

Fed might end up with a winning H2H over Djokovic if he doesn't play him too many more times and the fed fans can use the H2H vs more slam count, just like Nadal fans use it now

But Djokovic will never get 16 slams. Nadal could without Djokovic stopping him, but Djokovic winning 11 more slams is crazy.
The best part of Novak winning 11 more slams is that Nadal would win no more than 1 or maybe 2 max because there is simply not enough slams in the next 3 years for them to win any more. After that they both will decline too much to win anymore. Especially Nadal who has at most 3 years of any possibility for winning slams left in him.

WTF is this? Are you so jealous that people pay more attention to new queen of trolling Clarky21 instead of you, so you decided to follow her example and start making up dumb names? Pathetic!

If he hangs in there, no reason he can't win more.

Quite right, but there's a logical reason to it surely. Fed fans are fans of other players, too. Maybe some of them are also Muzza and Delpo fans, like myself.

Usually, I root for the underdog. I used to root against Fred when he was at peak. I rooted for Joker against him in 2005-6 in various finals (USO/Rogers Cup) (*kicks self in shin*)

Lol, I used to be a balanced fan before joining this forum.

Yes, who else is going to make them? Not like there are many candidates on the horizon. Let's see how Nadal does at MC and the other pre-FO tournaments before we make any rash calls.

That would mean that he's won 6 slams in a row.

Biggest achievement in mens tennis ever.

Here's a thread about Djoker winning the GS.

Hah! Not this year.
