If anyone in the Houston area wants to catch an exo and clinic with Mats W he will be at the Galleria Indoor tonight at 7pm. Now that his old buds Nic Kroon and Peter Lundgren live in the area and teaching out of the club (Kroon part owner of the facility) Mats seems to be making the club a regular stop when he's passing thru Texas.

I remember watching an exo between Mats and Ivan Lendl when they were the top 2 players in the world. It was unreal how fast those guys were.

Around 5 years ago, I watched Wilander easily return all of Luke Jensen's big righty and lefty serves. Yeah, he was quick.
Around the same time, a friend of mine hit with local resident Wayne Ferreira, and was amazed at his speed. |

Last year, we invited Mats to my local tennis club and I played in one of his "Wilander on Wheels" ("WOW") clinics. Well worth the money. Great fun. Great guy. His exos are also great fun. He can still play awesome tennis! Catch the exo if you can.
