Default Matchplay video for college

A lot of coaches were asking me for a video of a practice set so I managed to get one of todays practice set -http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JiDVB...39bPSEETnhIzg=

We only managed 6/7 games before the rain came on but hopefully thats enough to show you how I play. I'm playing with a guy who used to be top 150 ITF Juniors so he's a solid player. We didn't switch sides as I thought that was the best camera angle to get of me playing and the end score was 3-3 , 30-15 .

Let me know what you think

It doesn't look like your opponent is trying very hard and the video is a little long.

Other than that, it's good.

I would say he was trying. It may be pretty long but thats what a few coaches asked me for, basically non edited practice set so I just filmed it and uploaded it basically.

I was thinking about the different surface like tball2day suggested as well. I liked the 2 indoor videos you had posted in college talk....better surface and sounded better.
Can't you get a decent girl to show in your practice match? You only show hitting with guys? Real tourney match would be nice to show performance under pressure, but seemed like not feasible for you.
I would want to see some front view showing how you move to the net but that just my preference.
Adjusting the camera, so people can see the lines and the opposite side better might be helpful too. Coaches can see if the other side tried or it was staged.

Sorry that you have to refuge to this forum after the twin sisters' video. I think you couldn't get a lot of input there because this is already your third video.

Here is my 2 cents:
1. I can feel that you have the drive to win. good athlete. solid ground strokes.
2. Whether your opponents tried hard or not, you play well when his balls land around service box line with spin. you were not too comfortable when balls were deeper and wider. you have hard time when balls short and low. did i see any points when you volley? am not sure.
3. Anyway, i think there will be a spot for you in college tennis, just matter of d1, d2 or d3.
i am no expert, just my 2 cents.

lol

the video is fine. btw guy is taking an easy on you.

for your game

go for more on your back hand. cut the moon shots out moon shots are for girls.

you can certainly play d1, you got to think, welll maybe some girls can hit it a little cleaner than me, i can work on that. but let me do stuff better than them. ie, become the best athlete you can be and work on that serve so you are serving harder.

I know of course the guy is taking it easy on me. Hes a good player, was top 150 itf two years ago so knows what hes doing.

Theres lots of other recruits with videos on clay and I also have an indoor hardcourt one avalible for the coaches aswell.

I've seen several of your videos. You're really dedicated and passionate about the sport, and for that, I certainly hope you land a scholarship somewhere! Wishing you good luck!

Coaches specifically asked me to create a matchplay one aswell as the one I have with me hitting indoors. They also asked for it to be on an outdoor court and we dont have any outdoor hard courts here.

Theres also not many other people I can hit with. There are no girls near to my level that will play a set against me.

I think I've done the best with what I'm able to do.

Its also not staged at all. There has been no editing and its not like the guy is popping the ball up in the air for me to hit a winner, I'm still having to work the point.

Thank you. I've had a few offers but not the right place so far.

Its what the coaches asked for. They can just watch 5 mins if they want then take a look at the groundstroke video.

they wanted an uneditted set so that was my only option.
