pretty sure it's never until the day before those actually start - probably a good idea, so they don't distract from the team portion - so a few days still

Alcorta got in when Singh hi-tailed it out of Athens. Campbell Johnson of Cal can send a thank you card to Kawka.

Wow some tough 1st round matchups:
Wagland/Jenkins (3) rematch Frank/Libietis (1) Kobelt (7)/Saba then possibly Novikov R2 Bogaerts (5)/Giron King (9-16)/Pasha Lipman/Styslinger

How crazy would it be to see Jenkins vs Domijan in the final?

Yeah bad draw for both, but can't expect frank to win after a war with UCLA
Cunha with a good draw so he should have yet another good singles tourney if the beaches of Brazil aren't calling his name - two other top guys on his half of the draw (rola and domi) will have had long weeks and go through each other Kobelt will see Duke across the net in singles and dubs, and if Saba plays the way he was playing Giron before that match got cut off, watch out Kobe |

Anyone knows if the winner gets an automatic berth for the USO ?
What I understand is : they usually gives a wild card to the main draw if the player who wins is an American ....so if this is the case why are foreign students/athletes still fighting it out ? |

The foreign players would still like the honor of being an all-American by making the round of 16. Also the title is always nice. But the lack of the cool us open bonus is a bit of a downer.

They need to come up with another carrot for the foreigners to chase after. I know it's American college sports and all but still...
