I thought it was a good movie. Not great by ANY means, but fairly strong for the opening film of a new trilogy. Sure there's more focus on the visuals this time around, and the first hour drags, but it's mostly all a Middle-Earth fantastical treat. Little complaints from a huge fan of LOTR.
