I saw Verdasco live when he beat Isner at the US Open on Armstrong a few years ago. Guy has a deadly FH.

That was Verdasco in top form. Delpo's USO 09, Soderling's 09 FO, Haas's W09, Davydenko's fall of 09-start of 10, Nalbandian's fall of 08, Tsonga's AO 08, Gonzo's AO07, berdych's W10, Gasquet's W06, Roddick's W09, should those guys all be top 5 at the same time? Your best tournament isn't necessarily how good you really are. There is nobody who can consistently play at his top level, so don't judge them for just that top level.

Quite true but on the other hand it's not like Verdasco was in the top 15 for a week and then dropped out of sight. he's basically been ranked somewhere between 8-25 for three years
