Which means that that the clothes sold in the stores won't be exactly the same as the stuff that Djokovic actually wears. I'd bet the clothes that Djokovic actually wears is of much higher quality and is custom made and fitted for him.

^^ Yeah, likely to be true.

The Uniqlo logo also looks bigger on the retail clothing, I would've highly preferred it to be smaller like on Novak's clothing.

Am disappoint, was planning on picking up the FO stuff too, but it's unlikely now.

About the last part, it has to be I think. Novak has a very distinctive body type, far from standard proportions. I doubt there are many people who can wear what they make for him.

But don't forget that UNIQLO is a Japanese company and its clothes are originally made for the Japanese market so I'm sure the sizes are much smaller and their fit is tighter, slimmer, and smaller than the typical clothes made for the American market. Of course, UNIQLO probably has to make its clothes much bigger for the American market to fit American body types but I have no doubt Djokovic could fit into the clothes made for the Japanese market.

Asians may be slimmer and smaller(Isn't Novak tall?) but I'm not sure about the length. Shirt could be fine, since they tend to have longer torso. Shorts are different story. Anyway people wouldn't care if the size/fitting is exactly the same with what he wears as long as the clothes fit them.

You would think that Uni isn't going to go the ST route and make this stuff practically unavailable, which if they were only selling it in NYC is exactly what it would be.

And where is that clown with the theory of them selling clothes without logos, the logos on these shirts are massive, much more obnoxious than pretty much any brand out there.

I wear a lot of Uniqlo stuff for tennis and the gym. It is pretty reasonable quality for the price, and pretty functional. The sizes run smaller than equivalent brands but not significantly so. I dont think we will be able to buy the kit Djokovic actually wears. The marketing says no more than that the new line "closely resembles" what Djokovic will wear. In the Oxford Street flagship store in London the staff say that Djokovic has his clothes specially made for him but that new lines will be made available to the public as Uniqlo develops its sportswear line.

Wait... you mean I was right again.

Saw some of this stuff in Singapore a couple of weeks ago. Pretty boring gear imo.

Uniqlo is opening a huge store in Garden State Plaza mall in Paramus, NJ, the mall capital of the world.

Djokovic's upper legs are massive - shoulders are pretty wide too.

How was the weather in the Sing? Let me guess: it was hot and humid and in the afternoon the sky turned purple and it poured for 20 minutes then cleared up.

How's the view from the deck of the Marina Bay Sands?

Ha ha.. hot as hell as always. I was travelling from Melbourne so the disparity in temp was particularly big. Going from 10 to 30 degrees (approx 50 to 86 in fahrenheit). I wanted to hit some balls but couldn't find anyone to hit with.

I haven't been up the MBSs the last couple of visits. Maybe it's just me but places like that get boring pretty quickly.

Once is probably enough. I just haven't been there since '06 - might go in Nov since I'll be on that side of the Pacific. But will probably chicken out and just go to HK - weather there is perfect in Nov.

Cool. Depending on which store you go to in Japan, you may be able to find some Nishikori gear. They're also online on their Japanese website.

Great job. Maybe Novak will get his own anime series in Japan. Good post-tennis career - easier on the knees doing voice overs than sliding on hardcourts in 40 shot rallies. Can get back to hitting the glutens too.

Why TW guys are holding Novak on Adidas banner, as we know he doesn't have any contract with them, whether there's any kind of deal or agreement, as Novak wears Adidas shoes exclusively on and off the court???
