Had to pick up another pair of drymac micro crews when I found them for $4.87 at a national golf store that sells tennis gear.

I stumbled across the Drymax tennis socks at my local ********* and they were on clearance at $4.87 each. Needless to say, I bought about 20 pairs
I also have the Nike Elite socks and they are good too but a little thicker than the Drymax. My feet keeps dryer with the Drymax. |

I swear by EuroSock Slam Cool Crew Socks -- sold here at TW and made in Italy. Great cushioning and they last forever.

I usually go with good old Nike Cotton Mid Calves, that's my basic go to. I have three pairs of white Dri-Fits but I'm not a huge fan because of the grey logos and lack of inside sock logos. It really detracts for me.
Whenever I get a new pair of shoes I seem to always need a second pair of socks at the start, and somehow don't after like two weeks, even though Vapors aren't supposed to need break in or whatever. But basically I forgot today so I bought some of the really basic cushioned tennis socks that my proshop sells... WOW. I wore them under my good old Nike cottons and I loved the way it felt. Two pairs worked well, and the cushion was fantastic. SO... People say wearing two pairs isn't good for some reason, is there any merit to that? And how easy is it to find or purchase Nike TENNIS socks. I've seen a couple pairs on ****, like what Nadal wears, but nowhere else. |

Hanes...Loljk. Those are for practice days. I have these long socks that are thick but idk what they are. I also purchased a pack of padded Adidas socks. Opened it and they look nice but I haven't tried them yet.

damn! I didn't know Tommy Haas lurked on these boards
As far as the original poster is concerned. A couple of factors I consider when buying socks. First the region where you live. I live in south Texas and 10 months out the year it's warm. 5 months its hot and humid, so I need a fairly thin breathable sock. Also, I'm sure you don't skimp on the strings you put on your stick, why should you get cheap on socks that is an integral part for your shoes and overall performance. I'd rather get 2 pairs of high quality socks then 10 pack of bullcrap from wal-mart. I, personally like the Nike elites, Adidas barricade, thorlos, and gold toes.

Nike BB Elites rule! Great fit (L/R specific works), very cushioned, and never wear out. Worth the extra $$$!
