Will Nadal win FO without losing more than 4 games in any set he plays?

i realize he hasn't really played anyone yet, and likely won't until the semis... and even that will be a lapdog.. but is this the most dominant he's ever been on clay?

well he really hasn't faced anybody who has any weapons to trouble him at all so that has A LOT to do w/it. At least in the past, he'd run into a Grosjean, Hewitt, type of vet who'd make em work SOMEWHAT *shrugs*

Confidence. Nadal is and always has been a confidence player. He's managed to turn around the rivalry with Djokovic, which was the most dangerous challenge he's ever faced in his career. Now that he knows he can defeat his most difficult rival in big matches again, he's playing in CLAY-GOD mode again.

Let's face it, when Nadal is this ridiculously confident, he's the easy favorite for Wimbledon this year as well.

My personal belief is that a fully confident Nadal (particularly on Clay) is the hardest player to beat in the history of the game (ie, he plays the game at a higher level than anyone else).

Also I notice Feds rarely bagels anyone on any surface. Is that a function of simply not trying that hard on his opponents service games one he has a break, or especially 2?

Is Nadal working "too hard" to get these bagels when it would be better to conserve energy and settle for a 6-4 or 6-2 set win?

but when Fed bagels someone it's because they are truly sucking on their service game... spraying shots all over the place. He works hard to break once, maybe twice, but the 3rd time is on the other player, he's never pushing it.

Federer is usually confident in his service games and he usually needs one break to win the set.Certainly he is using less energy then Nadal and most of the time Federer winning a set 6-4 is faster then a 6-1 set by Nadal.
If Federer wins a match 6-4 6-4 7-5 he could be the same amount of time on court as Nadal winning 6-1 6-2 6-1.
Sampras was having similar mentality.One break and then if he gets one more is bonus.

The reason Federer doesn't hand out bagel sets that often is because he is more willing to give away points trying to go for aggressive shots. Nadal rarely makes a UE and he has more margin on his shots, therefore not allowing the opponent to win points and making them more likely to commit a UE.
