It seemed like his forehand had a lopper swing back in 05 thru 08. It feels like he's going for much more now a days.
anyone have any comments or thoughts? |

I agree that his backswing was loopier back in his early days. Now it is much more simple.

could that be a reason he's hitting more unforced errors of the forehand wing. Unlike his early years?
safin too had a smoother forehand swing prior to 2005, he changed his forehand stance as well as his swing due to knee injuries does federer have an acute knee problem that we don't know of? or is he trying to shorten the points and go for more? |
