I have been using this shoe for the past 3 years. Got it from TW back then. Now, this shoe is no where to be found if I want a new one. I have done hours of searching to no avail. Does anyone know a place where I can find them? TW Europe has something similar but the cost is around $150 shipped to US. I'm definitely not willing to spend that much.

I managed to find mine here in Dubai by going straight to the UAE distributor, by which time only the white version was available.
All the nicer-looking Ferrari red version was sold out in Japan only months ago (WHY???). I contacted Diadora who said that new colours would be available next year around March / April (let's hope Red will be on offer again). It's a nice shoe, but it requires a lot of breaking in. The Heel in particular has a tendency to pinch your tendon, but it's ok after a few hours of wear. It's so simple: if the customer can't find it, you ain't selling anything. Something both Diadora and Sergio Tacchini should ponder... |

Apologies, i just noticed that you were after the Speed Pro, not the Speed Star, but the same story applies: it was kept in the distributor's office until I hunted it down there.
They have the all-red version. The Speed Pro does not require the same amount of btreaking in the Speed Star does, very comfy out of the box, all the running gear underneath (midsole, outsole) is exactly the same. |

The Speed Pro II & III were the best shoes ever made imho. Light, comfortable and the most durable shoe for my toe dragging.
The last version sold in the states was the year after the SPIII, I believe they were called simply the Speed Pro and weren't quite the quality of the SPIII. Still, Diadora in the CONUS seem impossible to find unless you can use the one size listed as a closeout on some other sites. If you find that anyone carries them, let us know! I stocked up when I could and I'll be down to my last pair by the end of July.

I was contacted by a fellow TW member from Europe who has these shoes. Little expensive but worth it if you really like the shoes. Can't wait for them to arrive.
