Default Wimbledon - no play on Sunday

Wimbledon is nothing more than another avenue for entertainment. When you offer entertainment it makes sense to do so at a time when the majority of people have time off from the most common type of work which is Monday – Friday 8pm-5pm. For such an event that only occurs once/year does it make an ounce of sense to not be playing matches on Sunday? The biggest and most important days of the tournament should be Saturday and Sunday. Heck, take Monday off. Any other day of the week would be better to take off then Sunday. This is 2012 not 1012. Get with the program!

Oh, and curfew at 11PM... WTF is that? Don't they know tennis is more important than religion and should be going on 24/7?

lol it's 2 weeks / year. Not year round. And play on Sunday would be 1 day then 1 more for the final. Same thing goes with playing past 11pm. Who cares. Yes i can understand if it's year round and it's difficult for residents to live that way. But for 1 or 2 days when you might need to extent play later, BIG DEAL. People just lack the ability to be rational and logical (not you but the whole thing surrounding Wimbledon)

Ladies day is the worst. Watching unathletic fat half men play tennis badly.

That wasn't the case 6 years ago when all the great women players were still around (henin, Mauresmo, Venus was still fit, Ivanovic was good, Jankovic was good etc etc). Nowadays it's Kivitova versus Wozniaki...

Try living in the glorious nation of North Korea, you can't access the internet after a certain time. Also you can't use a computer unless it's connected to a government monitored network, e.g. internet cafe.

to be truthful though i dont really mind there not being play on the middle sunday. although let's say Murray wouldnt have won in the knick of time, then id have to say play them on the middle sunday. i mean isnt the whole point of tradition evolving?

I like to party after midnight with guns, too. Those who don't are on a slippery slope! Hey...Plaxico, is that you?

I would love to see some matches today, but am enjoying a relaxing day off and I feel entertained without middle Sunday play. I'm heading out for some tennis right now. This has nothing to do with God. It's about 'religion' and 'tradition'. And being dogmatic. Heck, Sunday is not even the actual Sabbath.

I also love that places are closed or close super early on Sundays.
Want to get your clothes drycleaned? Get a haircut? Nope. Its Sunday.
Seriously, we have a day where i dont have to work...and your business is geared towards consumers, and its a tough economy. Keep your shop open...good grief. Hire somebody to work it who could use the money.
And yeah, Ive got a whole day to watch tennis, but cant because its better to wait until Mon when I have to work. Im sure my boss wont mind.
