I tried everything to cure my plantar faciitis several years ago, but nothing worked.

Then I thought about it for a while and realized the best thing for my feet would be if somehow they could walk on pillows.
So I started stuffing Dr Scholls pads inside and quickly the shoe became to tight. So I bought some tennis shoes that were 2 sizes larger than my normal size and in the wide version, 2E.
Presto, with several Dr Scholls pads inside it felt great and my PF was gone for good.

It took a bit of getting used to these big things on my feet but in the end the problem was mostly in my head.

Hope this helps someone.

You coulda just got some Superfeet replacement insoles for your right sized shoes. They work amazingly well.

YES! I did this for my soccer boots as well. all Dr Scholls did was weigh down your shoes like cement blocks.

Never heard of Superfeet.
Thanks
I will try them out.
But I doubt they will feel as good as several gel soles.
We'll see

I had PF. Podiatrist taped up my foot for about a month to immobilize it during the worst of it, and recommended Superfeet, and I'm a total Superfeet loyal now. I wear the blues in my casual shoes and the more padded orange ones in my tennis shoes.

The key to preventing PF is a certain solidity/rigidity to the sole and arch of your foot, NOT over cushioning/padding as so many insoles offer. Over-cushioning can lead to foot problems. Podiatrist said that, and a lot of my own research as well as the fact that I haven't had a recurrence of PF with the Superfeet. (I was using more cushioned insoles before). My two cents.
