PJ'd rqt. Prob the same as Hutchins/J. Murray pj'd Slazenger, which is basically a Prostaff Classic copy without the PWS.

Oh, and by the way, 53/55lbs with Bow Brand gut (5% prestretch) & ALU Power

Regards

Paul

Good grief it's just dawned on me, the Brits are in fact using the mega age M1!! We've been overlooking these frames for years.

Haha, I've just brushed the dust off my M1 in the last week and have been meaning to get it off my hands.

Slazenger & Dunlop have the same owners as I recall. The non-PWS" proStaff"
has been around for years.

Henman used it, I would of thought that Rusedski did too as he came from the pro staff classic.
When you think about it, that frame was used a lot wasn't it.

i can read sigs. but since he uses qualifiers like 'probably' in his post, i take it that he doesn't have 1st hand knowledge. therefore he should be sourcin where he got his info

me, i think that is pretty reasonable n not at all meriting bein called a dummy

Firstly, Jonnymacfan didn't supply any info to support his claim, merely countering what I'd said. That's easy to do.

Secondly, I can't confirm exactly what is under the pj of the Bio 500T paint.

Thirdly, The other brits using this type of frame all have the same frame (but not necessarily the same lay up); and they all have the new Slazenger paint. Jonny M's frame appears to be the same.

Fourthly, It's accepted that when Tim Henman moved from Wilson to Slazenger the frame he used (and still uses) is based upon the Prostaff Classic. He also dropped a couple of new frames into Wimbledon stringing room this year, and they were the same frame he'd always used but was painted in the new Slazenger paint.

Fifthly, I have strung Jonny M's frames at several tournaments this year, inc Wimbledon so I should have a good idea what his frame is.

So when someone calls you out, back it up with evidence other than merely taking a different view.

Regards

Paul

I have 4 of Marray's old Slazenger frames, and I held one of his Dunlop paint jobs a couple of weeks ago. It's the same frame, based on the Pro Staff.

The Slazengers are an exact mold of the Pro Staff, and the Dunlop had the Bio paint job but didn't have the dimples raised on the pattern.

The Slazengers I have are identical frames with Silicone and lead and are the Pro Braided paint job. They were given to him by Henman who used them before using the same hold but extended.

UK_Skippy, I always enjoy you're posts.

maybe, but this is the interwebz.

You questioned a source which could have been verified by a little inductive logic...
