most of my shorts are white and I sweat a lot, neve had this issue, but I always wear compression shorts and I have nothing to hide.

Actually if you by the ones that are made of thick mesh instead of a thin polyester fabric this doesnt happen.

Sorry, guys, I find this thread amusing. Welcome to our (ladies) world. Tops that don't support "the girls" or issue headlight alerts and shorts that are too short or, worse, show....

I've vowed to "boy"cott next USTA season and wear only "boy" clothes -- shorts (with pockets!) and tees. Based on this thread, though, I'll still have to worry about those polka-dotted undies. LOL

Last night I wore for the first time in my life black underwear with white shorts. Couldn't find white undies in the drawer so I had to use what's available.

I lost the match. A sign?

Lol this made me laugh. Whenever I go out I sometimes wear my white nike tennis shorts and all my friends tell me how see through they are. Now I have decided to wear white boxers instead of colored

Oddly enough, gray compression shorts seem to show through white less than white compression shorts. Makes no sense, but tough to argue with the results.

For most skin colors, light grey under-shirts are recommended to wear under white dress shirts, so the principle is probably the same here. It should be the same luminosity as your skin color, and few people are that pale a white.

White shorts are awful, that being said I do have 3-4 pairs that I rotate. They are all a bit longer in the "Nadal" style so I don't mind!

But then wouldn't people think that you're not wearing any underwear at all? Isn't that far worse? I want people to know that, yes, I AM wearing underwear. I still think white underwear blends in best with white shorts.

I skip white shorts now.

I used to buy Nike and Wilsons because they have the best shorts. Very thin and easy to move in. Then I get the white versions of the same model in nike, yeah they are see-through but still thin.

I buy white Wilson's that are the same model as the colored ones and they are thicker! So I asked Wilson and they mentioned that all of their white shorts have an extra layer to prevent the see-throughness.

So to avoid the situation I stick to colored shorts.

However if you need white and don't want the transparency at least we know that Wilson is always double layered.

I always wear compression shorts underneath so it's not an issue for me. I have white and black compression shorts. I wear the white ones under white shorts.

I don't wear underwear when I play. The first day I wore my white Nike Showdown shorts was a bit embarrassing.

Is this pretty standard for white shorts?

I didn't see players at Wimbledon this year looking like this...

I haven't worn white shorts since the first time my wife saw them. She said 'never again' and that was that.

I've always worn black compression shorts under white shorts. Never had any problems.

I have the Nadal's last year Roland Garros, I think that it's the same as the first picture of this thread. I always try to use white underwear with it.
