Default "Signed" Tennis bags

Is anyone else annoying by the seemingly growing trend of placing "electronic signatures" on bags?

I know Wilson does this and I was recently looking at Head bags and much to dismay the only two bag lines I liked had signatures (one by Murray and one by Djokovic).

My question is why do they do this?!?! Is this something that everyone else likes?

Look at it this way: These bags are very specific signature bags, and 98% of the people who buy these bags will never get an opportunity in their life to actually get a real autograph by a pro. It is a marketing strategy to make money. No more, no less.

If you don't like the signatures, then I really recommend in getting a bag that doesn't have the signatures, even though they may not be your first choice.

Get whatever you want. Personally I didn't buy my bag because I couldn't get Fed's real signature, lol. I bought it because I liked it more than the previous year's version (with the really big signature) and it was a bit more streamlined as well. The black weave design also matched my iPhone cover, lol.

Anyway, I like it, I bought it. The signature wasn't high on the list of what appealed to me to buy the bag.

I find the signature cosmetic annoying too. They should make it optional (not sure how that would be done).

I got my Wilson Fed supersix bag with the massive sig just because it was the cheapest of that size. The sig is increasingly annoying however. I think it's more geared towards kids as a design. You don't see adults with posters of their idols either...

I think you're correct. I have a Yonex 6-pack bag and wouldn't have bought it with a signature, unless severely reduced.

I thought this was about autographed, as in actual autographed bags.

It clearly says "electronic signatures" in the OP.
