Luxilon Alu Power Rough Tension?

Hello Everyone,

A friend of mine is just about to purchase a Babolat Pure Drive+ and is looking at trying out some Luxilon Alu Power Rough strings in 1.25mm. The only problem is we are unsure on tension, I normally use Pro Hurricane Tour strung at 58lbs but I understand that Luxilons are supposed to be a little stiffer so strung looser?

Luxilon advises on the package that you should string 10% less than normal. I actually used a poly string at 53 then reg luxilon alu power at around 49 and they felt about the same tension. You don't necessarily have to go 10%. Maybe try it at 54 or 55.

Thanks I will recommend he strings it in the low 50's.

No problem. Luxilon, or any poly for that matter, at low tensions is heaven most of the time.
