http://www.sticksports.com/game/stic...ld-domination/

to anyone not familiar with this- i think it's the best online tennis game ever!
simple yet tactical and smart.

however, i just cannot pass no. 6 - Mr. Wilander
anyone else playing this by any chance?
i was wondering if some of you reached No.1

I got to Agassi (#3), and then gave up in frustration.

Wilander was the first player who truly broke me. I beat Becker 14-12 in a fifth set, I beat Kuerten in a 5th set after losing the first two and saving match points in the 3rd, 4th and 5th sets, and then against Wilander I quickly went up 2-0, and lost in 5 after having match points in every remaining set, and serving for it god knows how many times.

The same thing happened against Connors.

now i remember where i heard about this game
you mentioned it somewhere and i looked for it. good find!
as i'm not one of the "top spin 4" guys i usually play only this when i have 10 min.

damn this Wilander. and clay is the most frustrating to win on.
hard court is the most fun to play on, and grass is mostly ace race..
Aggassi? way to go!
the problem with this game that it makes me all sweaty while at work

My fingers get tied up too easily

Against most of these guys serve and volley works well but against Agassi it's just impossible! I'm tempted to look for codes online and skip to Sampras to see how I do. I'm able to triple bagel Goran now, but I'd imagine Sampras will be a different challenge altogether

15#Horde
14#Pizza
13#Smash
12#Towel
11#Amber
10#Scrub
9#Puppy
8#Manly
7#Haiku
6#Giant
5#Exile
4#Chill
3#Devil

Good luck breaking Sampras

[EDIT]

yea i did that already cause i didn't remember one of the codes.
but i go by the book
i wanna win fair and square.

you know, i really appreciate what they did in this rather simple game's moves.
i like the ability to control a really deep shot and right afterwards do a kind of a short side volley
BUT- where the hell is Federer?!

if they could only make an 2 player on-line version then we could really talk business !

I was able to beat it. The hardest one is Borg - by far! Beating him is terribly difficult. Sampras is a whole lot easier...

This game is so hard. I was tempted and jumped in right away with the codes and played Lendl and got smashed. Then tried Agassi and got smashed again.

It was fun but after 3 sets against Cash I had had enough.

A while ago I played this religiously, I figured a few shortcuts out like jumping up on their services and constantly serving up the T, so I've finished the game.

But after firing it back up again, I've got awful rusty, struggling against Cash.

i don't know, it depends... the surface really makes a lot of difference on strategy. most of the time, going up the net at the right moment is best.
but as it grows harder, especially on clay, they start to outsmart you...

i also hate it when they figure out your serve and start hitting return winners
