I'm still trying to figure out exactly why I do this, because this is something that happens to me in a bunch of other videogames and real life tennis as well
this is actually good, you could work on your mental game

I beat him!

4-6 6-3 3-6 6-4 6-1!

I was a little mad because I lead 4-2 in the first set then basically gave away 4 games and was like "here we go again...", but managed to pull it together a few times and won. Now onto the rest...lol

It took two sets, but I figured Connors out!

4-6 4-6 6-1 6-3 6-3

and nope, I should look for the app later

edit: and then Lendl falls!

1-6 6-4 6-1 3-6 6-2

Apparently It's my thing to lose the first set at least and then work out how to beat them, but only in five sets. Also apparently I have a lot of free time today

Agassi too easy with 6-3 6-4 6-4

I've just downloaded it, thanks Muse

I couldn't even imagine how it would work, but the control system is so intuitive.

It just works

[EDIT]

Forgot to add, yes it's free

thanks for the IOS free game.
it's totally different cause you only control the hits but it's great for an occasional no.2..
great graphics.

I was camping at the net..
Just go to the net. On your serve, serve at the T, he will return it then you should hit the ball deep in the center and when he is about to hit the ball, go to the net...
On his serve return deep to any of side and go to the net...
It worked for me

yea that's basically what i've done till now, but it looks like he slowly starts to return winners from my serve, and sort of learn my game after one good set

Well I did the first 15 quite a while back but I could never beat Sampras.

Then this thread popped up and I decided to have another go and I finally did it

I just cannot beat Borg, FFS.

Great game though!

The match with Lendl was awesome, I lost the first set 7-5 which was highly annoying. Then I won the next two sets 6-4, 6-1. Thought I had it won but suddenly he starts ripping every single return and I lose the 4th set 6-1.

In the fifth I end up going down 5-1, 0-40 on my serve!! Then somehow I save those 3 match points and win the match 7-5 in the fifth

This game wastes so much time lol.

bummer
i just got stuck with him.

btw- the iphone app demands that you buy the game after almost every match you win, so i'll have to pass.. it's a shame it's really fun.

FINALLY beat Borg 6-3 6-2 6-3 after having wasted so many matches with a 2 set to love lead.

Now only Sampras left. He's going down .

EDIT: And so he does go down 7-5 6-1 7-5. Sampras is 10x times easier than playing Borg.

Ah this was a fun game while it lasted! Atleast now I wont waste massive amounts of time on it though lol.

I went back to this game after who knows how long and fought Sampras. I'm happy to say I won 4-6 4-6 7-5 7-5 6-3!

Surprised he had more double faults than me, but that stupid serve of his saved him so many times he deserves them

Actually it is easy to beat Sampras than Borg. The key is to play quick return of serves where the opponent doesn't react for a moment and it ends up as a service winner. In the end, against Borg, it becomes quite easy to break and tougher to hold.

Using this strategy and coming up to net often, sometime back I bageled Borg twice in a straight set victory.
