Becker
Edberg
Lendl.

Agassi would be first and Zivojinovic last.

Alphabetically seems as good a way as any.

this is tough between Lendl and Edberg. Edberg's is so versatile he could do anything with that shot just about whenever he wanted to. but Lendl's was so steady and sure on any surface. You can say that Lendl's backhand was the most tested groundie of his era. His forehand was so potent that folks kept traffic over there, especially on clay, round after round. It did not break down. Becker's is less consistent than the others.

Edberg had the best and most versatile, a true weapon according to his style of game.Maybe only Connors ( with a totally different playing concept) had a better backhand than Stefan during the whole 1980īs.And may be only Kuerten and Agassi during the whole 1990īs.

Lendlīs was solid and, if not too pressed, very effective at the passing shot.

Beckerīs was not nearly as consistent, atlhough he was the best backhand returner of the 3.

I give Edberg clearly the edge, and I wouldnīt know about Becker vs Lendl.Iīd pick Beckerīs on fast turf and Lendlīs on clow turf, most likely.

Wilanderīs Bh was at the Lendlīs and Beckerīs level if not better.
