Default Multiple PJ's

This might be a good idea to boost racket sales. Why not have multiple paintjob's and designs for the same racket. You hear all the time how people like a racket but hate the paintjob or colour. I used to play with the Yonex RDS001 Mid, and remember people b*tching and complaining that they didn't like the yellow and said it looked like a parrot. Too bad as that was a great racket and many missed out.

It cannot be that much more expensive. You see shoe companies changing up colours all the time with the same shoes, why not tennis rackets. This could be a big hit amongst female tennis players as my friend says, who owns a tennis shop, that women come in all the time, demo a racket and say they like it but end up not buying because its the wrong colour.

Also, why not have signature colour schemes or designs for particular players. Oakley does this with goggles and sunglasses for example. Open up the possibilities. The worst thing companies could do is listen to a lot of the posters here. If that were the case, all rackets would look like the Wilson Pro Staff 6.0 85

not a bad idea

I would also gladly pay more to have a custom paintjob, much like the nike id...

Wilson has already touched on this idea with the BLX Blade in pink and the standard gold colour. Lots of people jumped on the idea of having a black special edition IG Prestige Mid.

Companies could come out with limited edition colours, or just have 2 or 3 colours to choose from for some rackets. Babolat missed the mark with the Roland Garros series I think as its connected to a tournament and not individual enough, which is what will sell in my opinion.
