Default How would Serena do...

Serena's just being completely dominant these days on the women's tour. I think she needs some more competition...how would she do against a top male junior...like Stefan Kozlov? Or better yet, how would she do against someone like Johnny Mac? I'd like to see J Mac come down from the booth and take on Serena right on Centre Court at Wimbledon. Who would win?

There is not a wide age gap, kid.Hingis dominated in the last portion of the 90īs and Serena started dominating a fey years later.

Hands down Serena would beat Hingis in her prime. The only women's players to ever play at the level she is playing at now is Steffi Graf and Navratilova.

Well, that's ********. Thanks for that.

JMac would get mirked against serena and a top junior like luke saville would straight set serena in his sleep. And that's the truth.

It doesn't take to be a historian to acknowledge player who's undersized like Laver that can't win the big one today. Hingis was overpowered by the bigger players with more weapons.

OP: Serena would deliver the smackdown to John, as she would get him running and exploit his aged attempt to move like its 1979.

Quoted for truth couched in necessary sarcasm. Laver is the true master of men's tennis, as we all know he accomplished what all top males since could not--the ultimate tennis prize aka the Grand Slam. Too bad Federer was not dominant/talented enough to do the same.

McEnroe campaigned to make that happen in the late 90s and early 00s, yet despite getting as far as early negotiations both Williams sisters declined when they put their egos on hold for a few seconds and realised they'd have no chance. But then I could be being a bit hard on the all-conquering siblings, because I only have Mac's word for it-courtesy of his autobiography-that they initiated a game of smack talk with him via the sports media.

I donīt discuss Federerīs obvious huge talent. But, he hasnīt been able to win it all even if playing in the weakest era since the inception of pro tennis...
TMF is too young to know what we are talking about...

My question is...How would have he fared in such a star studded scenary as Laver faced in 1969?
