Believe it or not, I don't think Nole or Roger will.
Murray is the one Rafa would be most scared of right now, has his best chance and will be well up for it. I think it would be tight but think Rafa has the grit required ro edge it over Murray.

It won't be Fed, Nole or Murray because Rafa won't get that far.

Why is there no poll option for "knees"?

Why shouldn;t he? It's concievable that Djokic is distracted, seems to have personal things going on and his level's dropped. Federer is increasingly having his off days, and Nadl even off the top pace can beat Tsonga etc on any day. I think it's only Murray he'd feel REALLY apprehensive about even now.

Nadal looking good, will will Winston-Salem.

I would love to see a match vs. Del Potro.

Yeah me too. Del Po is a good player to watch. But I think in individual match ups, Murray would worry RN more.

Nadal should worry if he has to play Murray's Tokyo 11 final beast mode.

Easy, you can't be match fit after a two month layoff and minimum preparation.

Davydenko's master plan comes to fruition, tanking enough matches to lose his seeding in majors and face his hard court pigeon first round.

I'm sure Nadal sleeps very well at night with his 21 masters titles, and 11 slams. Davy, otoh, will always have his 6-5 record over Nadal as a consolation prize for never doing jack sh*t in the slams.

I'm not a Nadal fan, but talk about kick a man while he's down. We know at his best he would probably make at least the semis. He has Djokovic as his biggest threat and Murray and Federer as threats depending on how they play, but he's gotten too good to suffer many upsets and the Rosol one will be rare if he is near to full fitness and match sharp in the near future.

Yeah, he's injured so i'm not even sure he will play. If he does and goes out fairly early, it's no big deal. I think if he plays and makes it to the semi's he will of done very well, any of the big 3 will probably be too much for him if he hasn't played any warm up events and is nursing a bad knee.

If Isner and Mahut can somehow be drawn together so often then I am sure a Nad-Ros repeat is likely

I think he will play, but he's gonna need an easy draw to get him up and running on hardcourt having not played on hard since Miami. I still think he'sthat good a player that if he's determined he can go deep no matter what. But he lost early at Wimbledon, and like him or not he's an all time great, would be kind of sad to see him limping out early, but some people would laugh and rub their hands. As chief spoiler of Federer's plans, I have to have respect for Nadal even if he's left me pissed off many times before.

Towser,if I may ask, when did you start watching tennis? If it's been long enough to witness the majority of Nadal's career you should know better than to hold out any hope of him doing much when/if he plays the USO.

Stranger things have happened. he DID make the semis in 2009 despite being out for much of the summer and performing subpar when he did play.
