I did not like the feel or playability of this string at all. I would not be confident saying that this string is polyester, in fact I'm convinced that it's some sort of Nylon.

I strung this at 52 lbs on a Pure drive Roddick that I normally string with Solinco revolution at the same tension. I play heavy topspin and I guess technically I would be considered an aggressive baseliner but I like to finish points off at the net and mix in serve & volley.

Power level: This is either a medium powered poly or a medium/low powered solid nylon. Again I'm not confident that this is a polyester string. It had a decent level of ball speed and power.

Feel: Oh wow. Feel? this string felt like plastic. That's the only way I can describe it. If felt like a very poorly made, dead, solid core nylon. This did not have poly feel to me.

Spin: Spin was maybe average for a solid core nylon, well below average if this is indeed a poly. The flat profile provided little bite into the ball and no "snap back" that you would expect from a polyester string. If they are to use this shape for some reason it should be twisted to provide some sort of bite. Or if someone wanted to close up a very open string pattern I guess it would work for that as well. The string movement was unacceptable.

Comfort: This was an area that this string was acceptable. Not outstanding but acceptable.

Durability: I feel like because of the amount of movement I am getting from these I could break this which is also why I don't think it's a pure poly. I do not normally break polys unless they are very very thin, as they go dead before I could notch them enough to break. I can not stand these long enough to try to break them so durability is acceptable as well.

Playability duration: These strings lost a decent amount of tension but I disliked the way they played so much that they didn't necessarily play any worse just a little more power and a little less comfortable towards they end. They remained at the level of playability they started with basically which is very very poor.

Control: I found no control with these strings I couldn't find consistent depth off either wing and since I use spin to control my shots the lack of spin was making for a ton of unforced errors both long and into the net when forced to overcompensate. The trajectory from the stringbed was inconsistent as well which had me floating volleys and getting pummeled at the net in doubles. First volleys when serving and volleying were a crap-shoot as I couldn't keep them low enough to be affective. It was this aspect of this string that made me hate it.

Compare this string to the one I use most often: Well It's worse in every way compared to any string I've ever used so I can't. I would have to compare this string to other things that were awful like George Clooney playing Batman, Godfather 3, and Starwars episodes 1-3.

After hitting with this string at 52 the lack of control would have me stringing it at maybe 58 to 60 lbs. This string had the playability of a solid core nylon that would normally come pre-strung on a wal mart racket. I would not recommend that anyone hit with it at that tension, I would recommend that you skip this one all together. I was not a fan of this string and would say I'm glad that this a prototype because I would be wary of any company that would release a string on the market.

Thanks for the opportunity TW and Gamma......Nope, try again.

Tension used for playtest : 54lbs
Regular string set up : Solinco Tour Bite and Gosen OG Sheep
Racquet brand and model used for test: Wilson K-Factor 90
Power of test string: It's a poly string so I didn't expect too much in the power department. However it felt less powerful than other poly strings that I use regularly. I had to prep a little more earlier and take a longer takeback to compensate for the lack of power. Serving with this string was pretty good in my opinion, I rely on placement rather than power and this helped me pick my places pretty easily.
Feel : The feel on groundstrokes felt sort of dead to me, but I'm used to playing with a synthetic gut in the cross to add to that. On volleys, it didn't feel that great. Kind of stiff, but sort of dead is what I would describe it on volleys.
Spin: Spin was probably the most disappointing feature of this string. Like what other posters stated, its more for the flatter hitters. You have to really focus on hitting under the ball to get any real kick. On serves, it was all right on slice serves but on topspin serves I lacked any real kick on them.
Comfort: It was pretty comfortable in my racquet, other than the stiff dead feeling on volleys slightly hurting my wrist on mishits.
Durability: Durability was pretty good, the shape of the poly was pretty unique. The mains slid very easily on the crosses, and it didn't develop any noticeable notching until the second or third of hitting.
Playability Duration (share thoughts on if/how the playability changed over time): Tension dropped the first night after stringing it to a few pounds less than strung. After the initial drop off I hit with it and it dropped some more. From then on out it didn't lose anymore tension to the extent that it would affect the playability.
Control (predictable trajectory? performance on different strokes and swing speeds?): The string being low powered, helped with the control on flatter shots. However on topspin shots like angled crosscourts or down the line shots over the higher part of the net were lacking in my opinion.
Compare to the string you use most often: Compared to Solinco Tour Bite, this string didn't beat it in any departments. The interesting thing is the flat shape of this string resembled a rounded rectangular shape vs the Solinco Tour bite's square sharp edged shape. Had the Gamma string been less rounded and given a more sharp edge, I would have seen an increase of spin.
Tension recommendations (after hitting it, would you recommend a different tension? Why?) 52-56 lbs is what I would suggest stringing this in any racquet below 95 square inches. I should have strung it at 52 lbs instead of 54, it might have given me more power.
Summary:
Like: The one thing I liked about the string is the sliding ability of the poly because of the flatish shape.
Dislike: The spin from this string was really lacking compared to other poly's that I've used.
All in all, I would like to try this string again if Gamma re-released it with a slightly more sharp edged shape. Stringing it in a hybrid would have been very interesting.

Tension used for playtest-
52lbs
Regular string set up-
Genesis Black Magic 17g
Racquet brand and model used for test-
Tecnifibre 320 Tfight 16x19
Power of test string-
Power level of the string was low, much lower than my usual set up.
Feel-
The string was on the stiff side to me and felt plasticy

Spin-
Spin was below average, not as good as my usual set up which i would say my usual set up is about average when it comes to spin for a poly.

Comfort-
The string was on the stiff side. I wouldn't say it was uncomfortable but definitely there are more arm friendly strings out there. My usual set up is much more comfortable.

Durability-
Durability seems fine. I usually get about 7 hours of my usual setup and it breaks. I dont think i am going to make it that far with this string, i will most likely cut it out.

Playability Duration (share thoughts on if/how the playability changed over time)-
The string was really stiff initially and then softened up a bit after 20 minutes or so of hitting. The play ability didn't change much over time, I thought the string just softened up a bit.

Control (predictable trajectory? performance on different strokes and swing speeds?)-
To me the control was an issue. The string bed did not feel "honest." Maybe it had something to do with the unique shape of the string. On some strokes i could swing out and the control was fine and then every now and then it would just "fly" on me. Seemed unpredictable at times.

Compare to the string you use most often-
Current set up is softer, more power, more spin and better control.

Tension recommendations (after hitting it, would you recommend a different tension? Why?)-
maybe string it a little tighter, 55lbs?, to see if could get a little more control/predictability...even though over all it seemed like it was low powered

Summary: List 1 or 2 primary likes and dislikes.
It was a pain to string, most likely due to the shape. Also felt the string was unpredictable.
There isnt much that i liked about the string to be quite honest.

Thanks to TW and Gamma for the playtest.

Cool

Tension used for playtest-52lbsRegular string set up-Luxilon Adrenaline 17g
Racquet brand and model used for test-Prince original graphite 90
Power of test string-Power level of the string was low required more effort to get same power.
Feel-The string was on the stiff side alittle much for me had a board feeling.
Spin-Spin was below average, not as good is the adrenaline.
Comfort-The string being stiff led to some arm discomfort for me.
Durability- I think this string seems it will last awhile.
Playability Duration (share thoughts on if/how the playability changed over time)-The string was really stiff and then softened up after an hour of hitting. The play ability didn't change much over time.
Control (predictable trajectory? performance on different strokes and swing speeds?)-Control was a big problem probably due too the weird shape of the string.
Compare to the string you use most often-The Adrenaline is softer, more power, more spin and better control.
Tension recommendations (after hitting it, would you recommend a different tension? Why?)-I don't think any recommendations on tension could help this string its just bad stuff.
Summary: List 1 or 2 primary likes and dislikes. It was a pain to string, most likely due to the shape. There isnt much that i liked about the string to be quite honest.

Tension used for playtest: 52 lbs

Regular string set up: Pacific Tough Gut Mains, Gamma Zo Tour Rough crosses

Racquet brand and model used for test: Boris Becker 11 Mid

Power of test string: One of the lower power strings I have ever played with.

Feel: Fairly soft for a poly, but very blah. Sorta like Pro Hurricane, but not exactly. Not really like any other string I have played really.

Spin: Not a lot really. I wasn't sure what to expect with the shape of it, but it really took a lot of effort to make any spin.

Comfort: Very soft for a poly, and not hard on the arm at all.

Durability: No real issues through about 6 hours of play, but it will soon be cut out so total durability will not be known.

Playability Duration (share thoughts on if/how the playability changed over time): Pretty well stunk all three times I played with it. At least it is consistant?

Control (predictable trajectory? performance on different strokes and swing speeds?): Directional control was good. I really had to try and flatten out strokes to do anything with the ball, and that is not really my game. The lack of power kept the balls from flying deep, but it was hard to consistently control depth.

Compare to the string you use most often: TOTALLY different from what I normally play. I like to play a low powered racquet with a more powerful gut/poly hybrid that helps aid spin production. This is like the exact opposite from that.

Tension recommendations (after hitting it, would you recommend a different tension? Why?)Lower to try and make more power? I don't think you could string it low enough to make much power.

Summary: List 1 or 2 primary likes and dislikes.: Likes...well it is comfortable for a poly. Dislikes...well pretty much everything else.

I am a fan of Gamma strings in general, but this string should never see the light of day again. Sorry Gamma, in my book this is a loser.

Oh, by the way, stringing this was interesting to say the least. You have to get the clamps adjusted well and the string in the same orientation each time, or the string really crushed.

I wish I had a better review to post, but I wouldn't consider using the string again, either hybrid or full bed. It simply has nothing to offer.

Thanks for the opportunity to playtest though. To know that you like, it really helps to know what you don't like as well.

Very sorry for the late review everyone, school got busy, and then I was away for a week, but I got it strung up and here is my review.

Tension used for playtest: 53 lbs.

Regular string set up: Xcel./NRG2 on Frame 1 (Main Frame) and Heptonic on Frame 2 all @ 53 lbs.

Racquet brand and model used for test: Babolat 2012 Pure Drive Roddick +

Power of test string: I found it to be low powered, lower than both my normal setup. I really had to step into the ball to get a nice shot, but with the low power volleying was very nice, gave me nice drop shots.

Feel: One of the better feeling polys out there to me, I enjoyed the feel, since I am mainly a flat hitter, this string really let me dig into the ball and feel the shot as I was going through it. Technically, the feel felt like a hybrid between a full multi. and full poly setup, since I switch off between the two, I guess I would describe it as a string that is not as boardy as a full poly setup, but has the characteristics of full multi./syn. gut with how you get the plow through feeling.

Spin: What can I say? It's a poly, there is definitely spin there... Being a flat hitter, whenever I use a poly setup, I have to switch to a more loopy form to get spin onto the ball and switch from my regular flat form. This one, surprisingly, I could do both. I could hit spin when I needed it with my loopy form and the power was there for me to generate on my own with flat hitting. But compared to my normal poly setup, it is definitely a lot less spin, I really had to swing it faster and harder to generate the spin that I wanted.

Comfort: I found no problems using these strings, being a poly you definitely feel it when you hit a deal spot, but other than that I would say average, a bit on the stiffer end, but once settled in and dropped in tension a little it becomes softer.

Durability: I would say great durability, I am not a string breaker, so I cannot comment to much on it. I noticed notching during my 3rd and 4th session out, but that is about it.

Playability Duration (share thoughts on if/how the playability changed over time): When I first strung it up on my initial hit, I did not really like it at all, I could not find my comfort zone, hitting flat just popped the ball up and out, hitting too much spin would net it. But after the first session, I did not hit for a couple days, during that time tension dropped and strings settled in a bit, when I took it back out, it felt much better. I could really get some plow into the ball, and the strings did not feel as boardy and stiff. Since then, I have taken out for a good 10 hours or so, it has settled in, and I am enjoying it in the frame. This string definitely required a break-in period for me.

Control (predictable trajectory? performance on different strokes and swing speeds?): My game style is more of a flat baseliner, with these strings, I found with spin that I had to go with a wider and more loopy stance and form with a lower take-back to my shots. On flat shots, I had to swing a little faster to keep it in, but I did not have to adjust much to those shots. As far as predictability in where the ball was to land, it tended to land shorter than where I wanted, due to the lower power, which led to me swing faster to generate more spin and power. If I swung at my normal pace, it would just pop up and fly out, and if I swing it lightly, I would not generate enough "oomph" into my shot.

Compare to the string you use most often: Since I switch between two string setups depending on the conditions, I will start with my Multi. setup, compared to that: it was definitely lower in power, had the pocketing feel of the multi., and generated more spin. Compared to my poly setup: it had more power, less spin, but did not have as much of a boardy and stiff feeling. So it is definitely softer than my normal poly.

Tension recommendations (after hitting it, would you recommend a different tension? Why?): If I was to recommend a tension, I would say around 52-55 range is nice, on a first hit it will feel stiff and hard, but once the tension drops off and settles in, around 46-48 range, it definitely begins to show its nicer attributes.

Summary:
Like: Nice pocketing of the ball, good spin for my (flatter) game style
Dislike: Low Power, stiff on initial hitting without a break-in period

On a final thought, I enjoyed this string, I will keep it in my racquet until it breaks or just goes dead. So far, it has been around 12 hours and it is still good. It is a nice string for flatter hitters, by offering what feels like a mix of poly and multi. attributes. Depending on the price range, I would reuse it, try a hybrid or something maybe, but even on a full set I really like it and could see myself changing my poly setup to this.

Thanks TW and Gamma for the PlayTest, hope I get another opportunity in the future.

Tension used for playtest
55 pounds on both mains and crosses.

Regular string set up
Cyber Flash 17 mains with OGSM 16 crosses, both at 55 pounds.

Racquet brand and model used for test
Prince OS Warrior.

Power of test string
Low, even for a poly. One of the reasons I hybrid in my usual setup is to get a little extra power from the syngut cross strings, but this test specified "no hybrids." Perhaps this string would have been better in a hybrid, but I'll never know.

Feel
Blaah. Dead, boardy feel. Not at all crisp or lively. Little arm feedback. I just didn't enjoy this feel at all.

Spin
Disappointing. One of the benefits of using poly is enhanced spin potential over other types of string, but I wasn't feeling it so much with this one. I had to take too severe a cut at the ball to really get it spinning, and that causes other errors. Definitely a string for flat hitters, and that's not me.

Comfort
Not terrible. This string isn't an arm-killer for a poly, and it felt a lot better than the actual results I was getting. Off-center hits were not too jarring. So, maybe this is the string's best feature, as I'm mostly negative in the other categories.

Durability
I only played this string for about 6 hours over the last three weeks. I'd play a set with the playtest string, and then (happily) switch back to another racquet with my regular setup for the rest of the sessions. So, the playtest string still has some life left in it, but my ladder league just started up this past week, and my lack of enthusiasm for this string makes me want to get back to my usual setup full-time for the league matches.

Playability Duration (share thoughts on if/how the playability changed over time)
This actually became a bit more playable the second time out, so there's a bit of a break-in needed before it stops feeling like crap. But it never got to the point where I was very comfortable with it. But, for what it is, it's OK through the six hours I have on it, and can probably go a few more hours, but I'm done with it.

Control (predictable trajectory? performance on different strokes and swing speeds?)
It was OK on directional control. Not as good on depth control, as I rely a lot on spin, and this string doesn't deliver on that. Probably a satisfactory control string if you're a flat hitter, though.

Compare to the string you use most often
Well, Cyber Flash is a good all around poly – not spectacular at any one thing, and not real bad at anything. This Gamma string was worse than my CF/OGSM hybrid at just about everything (power, spin, control). Maybe only in the comfort department was this string any god, but not by enough to make up for the rest of it.

Tension recommendations (after hitting it, would you recommend a different tension? Why?)
I s8upose it might be better at a slightly lower tension (50 pounds or so) to try and get a bit more power out of it, but a better thing to try would be to use a softer cross string in a hybrid.

Summary: List 1 or 2 primary likes and dislikes.
Well, for likes, just the comfort factor. It felt a lot better than it played, though, and everything else is a dislike: not enough power, not enough spin potential, just average control. And what's with this string movement? Poly isn't supposed to do that.

Even if this one sells at a lower poly price point, this one is not for me, but thanks to Gamma for giving the opportunity to test it out.

Strung it up last night, interesting stuff. Shape of it is flat with some twists from coil memory? Anybody got a close up picture of this? Last time with the 4g test someone posted a pic that revealed it was actually a shaped poly which was difficult to see.

Gamma Playtest

Full set or hybrid - Full set used

Tension used for playtest - 57lbs

Regular string set up - Tourna Big Hitter Blue Rough 16g mains/17g cross

Racquet brand and model used for test - Wilson Pro Staff Tour 95

Power of test string - Compared to my regular setup this had about the same or just a tad more power. I would say this is a medium powered co-poly.

Feel - This string started out playing very nicely for me, feel was very solid and predictable. It had the typical poly feel which is dead and not very lively but everything was very well controlled. Touch shots can be executed by skilled players, nothing to complain about there.

Spin - The spin on this was average to slightly above average. It gave me enough spin to hit angles and control my shots but nothing insane that's making the ball explode off the court so the spin was satisfactory but not exceptional.

Comfort - This string is in line with the latest co-polys, soft and comfortable, easy on the arm, didn't feel any soreness after all the practice sessions using this string. I Have full confidence hitting out with this string and it will not harm my elbow.

Durability - Durability is average to above average. After the first hit session there was slight notching but nothing indicating the string will not last. However upon closer inspection, the notches were not the typcial notches compared to other co-polys. These had notches that seem to have melted away some of the material. It gave me the feeling that the material used for this is "cheap."

Playability Duration (share thoughts on if/how the playability changed over time) - Ok this is the strange one. During the first hit session the string played great, I was very impressed to be honest. 15 minutes into hitting, the strings started to move on me, tension did not feel like it dropped off but string movement got worse, it was very dissapointing. Usually this only happens with synthetics, this is the first time I had string movement in such a short time with a co-poly. If the string movement was minimized, I would say playability was pretty darn good. There was a point where I was actually thinking about getting a reel of this stuff to try out but the string movement just killed it. Gamma please fix that...

Control (predictable trajectory? performance on different strokes and swing speeds?) - Control was very good on groundstrokes, I was hitting out on my shots and the ball was going where I wanted it to go. Spin access was easy enough that I didn't have to change anything to keep the ball in play, this string was a confidence booster untill the string movement occurred. Vollyes felt nice but serves needed a bit of help, I felt that it simply did not have enough pop on serves.

Compare to the string you use most often - At the start the Gamma string compared very favorably to BHBR to my surprise, playability was good, spin was good, control, power and comfort were good, then after 15 minutes the wheels started to come off. String started to move on full swings, string material appeared "cheap," my confidence in the string bed took a nose dive. Playability remained good but I had to cut out the strings after the 2nd session, the movement was too excessive and that was the deal breaker.

Tension recommendations (after hitting it, would you recommend a different tension? Why?) - The string tension should be strung similar to other co-polys, the characteristic of this string did not vary too much from others that it needed tension adjustment.

Summary: List 1 or 2 primary likes and dislikes. - The Gamma test string made a very nice first impression on me, I was looking for something else to try other than BHBR. The first few hits with the Gamma told me that this could be a contender to my surprise. I liked how it played, nice pop on groundstrokes, very nice on volleys, it allowed me to do everything I needed to do. If Gamma can fix the string movement and somehow mask the "inferior" look of the string material, then I can recommend this to the players that I string for. In its current state I cannot recommend this.

Thanks TW for letting me participate in these playtests!

Tension used for playtest 50 lower than what I usually use, and thank goodness. If I had strung any higher it would have been unusable.

Regular string luxilon big banger og

Racquet brand and model used for test babolat pure drive roddick

Power of test string very dead and boardy, underpowered as a full bed
Feel none, absolutely none dead poly feel.

Spin This is not a spin friendly string. That flat face just felt really strange to me.

Comfort even in a full bed the string was not unduly harsh. even as stiff as it is.

Durability i have about six hours on it and it seems to holding up well.

Playability Duration (share thoughts on if/how the playability changed over time) I haven't noticed any break in period either. Still plays just as stiff, boardy, and dull as it started out

Control (predictable trajectory? performance on different strokes and swing speeds?) There is control here for a flat hitter. Not my game to take big flat swinging cuts at the ball, so this is not the string for me.

Compare to the string you use most often lux BB OG is amazingly consistent in it positive feedback heavy and light. this string is the exact opposite.

Tension recommendations (after hitting it, would you recommend a different tension? Why?) If i were to give this string another chance i would go very very low with tension like 40/45 would be good.

Summary: List 1 or 2 primary likes and dislikes. I really didn't like or understand this string at all.Tought it would be more spinny but i guess not. Also would have liked some power.

Thanks TW and Gamma for the playtest

Tension used for playtest 47lbs

Regular string set up is beast xp mains47 and nxt control cross45

Racquet brand and model used for test was Dunlop aerogel 4D 300 Tour

Power of string was lacking, it was probably one of the lowest power strings i have used and it didnt seem that lowering the tension would even give any more power

Feel was like a typical poly a little boardy and not to much feel. It would be better off in a hybrid with a multi to get some feel.

Spin was fairly good and didnt really worry about shots going long due to the lack of power and it has enough spin to drop the ball in the court.

Comfort was nice and soft and didnt give me any elbow problems

Durability seems good as i played with this string for 6-8 hours and didnt really notice any notching.

Playability Duration (share thoughts on if/how the playability changed over time) They started off a little boardy but it could have been my racquet cause its know to have that feel but after about an hour they started to soften up and felt good.

Control (predictable trajectory? performance on different strokes and swing speeds?) They had good control partly due to the lower power and the pretty decent spin. I felt i could hit fairly had and not worry about it going long.

Compare to the string you use most often: This sting was lower powered and a little less spin but the feel was about the same

Tension recommendations (after hitting it, would you recommend a different tension? Why?) I would probably drop a couple pounds just to see if i could get more power.

Summary: List 1 or 2 primary likes and dislikes. Dont really have any likes as it did most things just ok and nothing great. I guess my biggest dislike would be the lack of power.

Thanks TW

Med-low power. Allows one to swing out but proper mechanics was called for more and more as the strings started to settle and get past playability

Feel
The feedback was pretty decent for me considering I play mostly multi strings. Comparing it to a poly (recently tested the 4G), it was a bit more on the dead side.

Spin
I expected a bit more bit from this string but it seemed to play better with more of a flat stroke. I didn't notice as much action on my 2nd serve or ground strokes.

Comfort
It didn't aggravate my GE. It was a pleasant surprise in this department. Probably not as comfy as the 4G, but still very nice

Durability
There is some notching and the way it is wearing in, it looks more like a syn gut

Playability Duration (share thoughts on if/how the playability changed over time)
Like most of the strings I've been able to try, there is about a 15-30 minute break in period. It could also be just me getting used to the new feel of the string. About 1/2 way through the match, I could feel myself getting comfortable with the new characteristics of the string. There was very little string movement.

Going into my 2nd match I was happy to have fully warmed up and gotten used to the new string. In the 3rd match, the strings started to move around a bunch and didn't move back easily. The control started to go out and I noticed there was more notching.

The notching seemed odd as I thought this to be a poly string. It looked like it was notching like a soft syn gut.

Control (predictable trajectory? performance on different strokes and swing speeds?)
During it's peak performance, the control was very good. I was getting typical spin performance when I would change my stroke but nothing spectacular. It seemed to perform better with a fast and almost flat swing. Forehands down the line or cross court was nice. I was having my typical bad day with my 1hbh and couldn't settle in on my topspin stroke. Slices seemed to float or dump in the net. A flat bh was my only stroke I felt comfortable hitting on that side.

Compare to the string you use most often
Not as much spin and feel as the recent string test of Luxilon 4G and my regular Live Wire XP. It had a short moment on goodness but went downhill pretty bad. Probably the 2-3 hour mark is when it played it's best.

Tension recommendations (after hitting it, would you recommend a different tension? Why?)
I would probably try 2#s higher to still try and keep the string bed soft but to help it keep from moving around so much.

Summary: List 1 or 2 primary likes and dislikes.
My uncle has been stringing up my racquets for me as of late. He was a bit confused with the string. Some times it would feel like it was stretching but it seemed to be the clamps not holding the string as good when it was on the flat side of this fettuccine shaped string. I liked how it had decent direction control and it would work well with a primarily flat hitter. It was a nightmare when the strings wouldn't snap back and the control started to go down. I don't restring that often and this seems like you would need to have a racquet freshly strung to enjoy the peak of this strings playability. You could also crank up the tension but as a previous GE sufferer that is not a consideration for me.

Thank you Gamma and Talk Tennis!!!

I Apologize T.W. for my late review, because honestly i did not get much playing time with these strings, please excuse me.
Tension used for playtest- 52lbs
Regular string set up-My Regular string set up is Luxillon 4G string at 52lbs.
Racquet brand and model used for test-I use a Wilson Prostaff six one 95, with 5g's of lead at 12 and 6-8g's of lead at the handle
Power of test string-Very low power!! even for me, and i love low powered strings
Feel-i think this is mostly where this string did the best, slighty boardy but still good, able to slice and dropshot with ease
Spin-Ehhhhhhh nothing special, same old same old spin as some other polys
Comfort-not soft or plush like 4g, but ok, no elbow or arm problems
Durability-ive never broken a poly, so yeah it held up perfectly
Playability Duration (share thoughts on if/how the playability changed over time)-another little area where this string did good, i played for about 7ish hours and it was the same thoughout the whole playtest
Control (predictable trajectory? performance on different strokes and swing speeds?)-FAST AND HARD STROKES NEEDED!! control was good, but dangit i had to be on my game ALL THE TIME, and if i let go for a second it would go short
Compare to the string you use most often-totally different i'd say, not as spinny, or comfortable, and the power is even lower than my string. Feel i'd say is a little similar except for the boardy feeling
Tension recommendations (after hitting it, would you recommend a different tension? Why?)- honestly i feel like i would string this string at like 40lbs!!! stringing it low would compensate for the low power and the weird/unique feeling of the string
Summary:- not my favorite string ive played with, would recommend it with gut in the mains probabaly to make up for mostly power and spin. Seems like this would be a low cost string if it goes out on the market
Thank you Gamma and T.W. for this playtest, and i hope to review more strings if you wil allow me (sorry again T.W. for the late review!!!)
