Product cycles for shoes and apparel?

Sorry if this is a stale topic...probably is.

I just started playing tennis again this year after 20 years off! Now I find myself completely addicted to all the cool tennis clothing, shoes and gear.

Can you guys educate me on when the apparel and shoe companies release new lines? I mean is it constant throughout the year? or seasonal with most of the new releases happening at a certain time of year?

Thanks in advance for any info. This forum and all the knowledgeable people on here are amazing!

Most of the stuff is seasonal. Speaking at least to nike, they have spring, which spans from AO to the clay season. The clay season begins the summer line, which lasts through after Wimbledon. Late July/August brings the Fall collection, which covers the summer hard court season and Open. After that it is Winter collection which will last until the next year. I know tennis warehouse gets their stuff in at certain dates, however I can't remember them all off the top of my head.

No, the winter line will be released not long after the US Open. You can go to Federer Fan 07's website. He uploads scans of the nike catalogs so you can see what's in store. You can see Nike Winter 2012 and Spring 2013.
