Cool

Talk about trap games...Notre Dame and Georgia are both behind in the first half vs Pitt and Ole Miss. Stay tuned!

Notre Dame just got a bogus pass interference call on 4th down which may have saved their season because they scored on the next play instead of losing the ball on downs. Awful call.

Golson got picked off in the end zone. ND comes away with nothing on that drive. 20-12 Pitt with 5 min to go.

ND fumbled at the 1 yd line. If Pitt scores a FG they win in the OT.

Pitt MISSED the 33 yd FG.. Off to another OT...

Pitt's offense is a joke. They are way too predictable. Their defense has done the job taking the ball away 3 times, including two inside their own 10.

ND prevails 29-26. Pitt stopped playing to win after the 3rd quarter.

Oregon should find itself back in the #3 spot at worst if they beat USC.

Good to see Nebraska pulled through. It means we have a chance at beating another ranked team next week.

Now, Oregon: Just take care of business.

Crazy shootout between Oregon and USC. 55-45 Oregon very late in the 4th.

How did LSU let that happen, Bama was coming off three straight 3-and-outs

Damn you Les Miles!! Your gambles all failed, you made your kicker try a career high FG which hooked, your defense played really soft on that last drive. ARGH! Alabama should not have even been in position to win as they did NOTHING the 2nd half until their winning drive.

I would have pooch punted instead of tried that 45 yd FG as the kicker barely has 45 yd range on a good day. It was so close to having KSU and Oregon 1-2 in the polls.

Yesterday was stressful. We never trailed, but we had a couple chances to put it away and couldn't. There were some awful calls that went against us also, the worst being a PI call in the 4th quarter that took away an Oregon interception and led to an SC TD. We were up 17 at the time and should have gotten the ball back. Ugh.

Window dressing TD at the end gave SC 51 points, but I'll talk an 11 point win on the road against a team that gave us their absolute best shot. Gotta take care of business now against Cal, with a 5th straight 10 win season on the line. Go Ducks!

I pray that usc beats notre dame. Nd got a huge break with a bogus Pi call that put them back in the game. It was borederline fixing to be honest.

Bama game - wow. Id rank it bama, kstate, oregon, notre dame in that order.

What happens if Louisville, that forgotten 9-0 team, finishes undefeated? We could have 5 undefeated teams.

Cool

Well, it wasn't the blow-out win FSU needed as a statement to the pollsters but it WAS a gut-check crunchtime victory on the road in a very tough stadium. Bowden built his legacy on this type of success in hostile territory. Maybe Jimbo will realize the road makes potential champions stronger through facing such adversity. This was only the second game outside Florida...I think he needs to throw out one of those cupcakes at the start of the season and arrange a few home/away mini-rivalry contests to toughen up the boys for late season battles AND improve strength-of-schedule stats.
