Default PSBLX 6.1 90 Crack

Hey guys.

So today, I noticed that I've had a crack all along in one of my PSBLX 90s.
It goes from the 4 o clock position all the way up to the 1 o clock.
I've noticed nothing in terms of difference in feel, probably because I use shock absorbers.
Now, I really don't know what to do about this racket, since today I got really out of control and went ahead and just smashed another one on the court today, which obviously made a crack in the neck of it.

But do cracks matter in classic frames, where the frame is already so solid and stiff?
And should I just go ahead and replace the two?
Thanks.

I'd consider it dangerous. You could potentially take an eye out if it were to shatter when hitting a ball or while stringing.

Is this thread for real? You found a crack on the racquet, and you "got out of control" and smashed it on the court again?

I'm glad you didn't ask about the warranty.

As far as crack, no knowledgeable stringer will string a cracked racquet.

It clearly says I got another racket and smashed it, not the already cracked one.

Say Chi Sin Lo: what are the terms for the warranty at Wilson?
I know for a fact I didn't do physical abuse on the other one.

As for the 1st racquet (the one you said it you didn't abuse haha), you're not the first person to report those kind of cracks on a BLX PS 6.1 90. I heard about the same problem from 2 other people, althoug I've played with this frame for 4 months and never had any issues.

You're in Korea, we're in the US. We don't know what warranty is in Asia. They should just slap you for going A-bomb on your rackets. No racket for you!

Yeah I thought it was really weird that I had a crack just down the middle through like half the racket.
And I know for a fact I've never thrown it.

If you read my location description, you could say that.
Except I'm in the states at the moment.

You sure the first racquet wasn't the result of you "going out of control"? Like the second one?

I've never had a cracked racquet, I never bothered to check. It's been a non-issue for me forever.

I assume you can prove your innocence to Wilson if you can show minimum scrapping/chips on the cracked racquet. Also, like someone has already pointed out, Wilson is notorious for crappy quality control. But stop throwing your racquets.

100% positive.
This is actually the first racket I've ever broken by smashing.

The warranty policy is you take it back to the store you purchased it from (authorized dealer) and the store will handle the warranty replacement. Process takes about 1 month. If you didn't buy from an authorized dealer, there is no warranty, and it's Wilson's discretion what they do with it.

aight thanks for the replies guys.
I think I'm just gonna spend a few bucks replacing the two and maybe adding the third one in.

In the future, scream into a towel instead of smashing a racket. Esp if your wallet's light. Better to go into Buddhist zen and control your temper, however. Fed was once a hot-headed junior, fyi.

As far as crack, no knowledgeable stringer will string a cracked racquet.
Found a huge crack under the bumper guard of a customer's racquet once, so change that to "no knowledgeable stringer will string a visibly cracked racquet."
