Default Shoe rotation? ascis gr4 lasted 4 months?

My wifes GR4s are worn through and will be replaced on warranty...after 4 months. She had an exclusive color wave so Im assuming she can now select any shoe she wants since they are no longer available. The GR4s didnt last very long but I assume they are about as durable any other nike or adidas. So we'll buy some shoes locally and also swap these out through TW. Also, they get so soaked and dont dry out soon enough so my thinking is that she needs to have atleast 2 pairs and just rotate them out.

As far as rotating shoes, is it better to stick with identical pairs that will wear the same and feel the same for the most part? Will swapping between differnet brands/models affect her footwork or foot "health"?

Just wondering...are we overthinking here?

shoe wise, shes looking at the latest nike and adidas lines. maybe the speeds but I wonder if they are less durable than the GR4s.

How often are you using these shoes?

Firstly sounds like she sweats a lot in her shoes if they are getting soaked. Does she have a condition that may need treatment? Otherwise try talcum or some kind of power that absorbs sweat.

Secondly you are over thinking it, I specifically by shoes that have the 6 month warranty and wear them out to get another pair. Everyone should

Shes a few hrs a day most days, some longer. If she does a morning then afternoon, they are still wet. The GR4s wore through the sole as well as ripping in the toe box outer sides.

I sweat a lot and my shoes get soaked too..maybe I have a condition? Lol.

You have to have 2 pairs. There is no other way around it. Speaking from experience.

Lol laugh now, but you don't know till you ask a medical professional.... hyperhidrosis

Example; 6 hours on court time a few weeks back, my shoes were damp but not soaked. I did change socks once, but the socks or shoes were in no way soaked....

I don't know anyone that "soaks" their shoes whilst playing tennis. Soak is taking to mean dripping of moisture. For socks if they are soaked in my use of the word, you can literally wring them out...

I think is normal by playing some hours/day and sweating a lot: my GR4 lasted about 10 months in play-it surface.
Just buy 2 pairs of GR4 or GR3 and you'll get the stuff

I rotate 3 pairs of shoes so they have a chance to dry out. I soak my shoes, but it isn't because my feet sweat so much, it is because sweat runs down my legs. Thicker socks help.

Anyway, I rotate 3 pairs and have an old "emergency" pair in case I am playing more in the sweltering summer weather here.

Come play in florida in august and then talk to me. There are tons of articles about pros who had to dump their shoes out between sets in matches and I know other guys here who had to as well.

What you are talking about is a condition in which people sweat uncontrollably in comfortable conditions. Thats a huge reach and is plain wrong in this case.
