Henin at her end was still good at moving. Clijsters at her end was getting out of shape and slow. At their peak, Clijsters was the better retriever while Henin could turn defense to offense better.

Has any of you see Hingis moving in a tennis court?

Its part.of.her style. She could slide on all four surfaces and at her best pop back up and move herself quickly into position for the next shot. She moved with ease, she could change position very well. Her footwork was solid and she could move forward very well to cover the net (she was not.number 1 in doubles for nothing). She made it look easy...Henin was good but she also generated amazing angles that allowed her more time. Clijsters did not.have that advantage and.she was plain fast.

Henin's footwork was astounding. Only second to Graf at best.

Your love for hingis is no different from Joe Pike loves Graf.
Back to the topic, Henin is clearly the superior mover, especially on clay.

Surprised Henin is leading this poll by so much. All Clijsters had was her movement pretty much, so to achieve what she did based almost entirely on movement she had to be pretty excellent. Prime Henin was a great mover but had alot more game than just movement compared to Kim.

Henin's footwork was the best on the WTA tour by a considerable distance when she was active.
Clijsters and Venus both had more athleticism (although Henin was an excellent athlete herself, but thanks to Henin's superior footwork, I would say that she was a slightly better mover across all surfaces. The early 00s was a very strong period for athleticism in women's tennis. Apart from Davenport, almost every player in the top 10 was an excellent mover and athlete. Serena, Venus, Henin, Clijsters, Mauresmo, Dementieva, Hingis etc all covered the court so well. |

^^Yes sorry should have included her in the list.
1999 and the early 00s was my favourite period to watch women's tennis overall. A lot of high quality tennis, genuine rivalries and interesting personalities, and the sponsors and broadcasters certainly agreed. |

No, but I once saw her whiff mounds of blow off Anna Kournikova's rack.
Ah, Joe Pike.....mommy's little mistake. on-topic: Henin, slightly.
