Default Is my forehand a straight arm forehand?

While hitting with my friend the other day we were discussing about each other's forehands and my friend said I hit straight arm forehand. I always felt that it felt more like a bent forehand, because of how on contact I sort of tuck in my arm closer to the body.

Any thoughts?

I can't tell from that video. You're too far away and it's too blurry. But, from what I can see, I like your set up, UBR, contact point and swing path (the part you show).

It kind of looks like a straight arm in that video, but again, hard to see from that distance.

Neither is wrong, and if you can hit both then good for you.

Posting videos on youtube is too mainstream, that and GIFs loop so its easier to replay a shot.

Youre posting some grainy gif where you are in the background, what i was getting at is you should post something that people can see more clearly and more of, not just a short gif that is difficult to see.

You are asking people if its straight or not.. at least post something that shows it properly..

Sorry I was just joking around with the youtube being a mainstream thing. I probably could have posted it on youtube but then it would have only been like 3 seconds and the quality still would have been really crappy. Next time I'll try to use a better camcorder.

The quality of the video is not that good. In future, picture it from the side and also from behind so that the hand action is visible. Anyway, it looks to me that as you come into contact your hitting arm is a bit straight and then bends up in the follow-through.
