Default Dropping Tension in a Gut/Lux Hybrid

Hi guys, I've been feeling that I need a little more pace from my stringbed.

My usual hybrid is Tonic+ mains @58lbs with Alu Power crosses @56lbs.

I was thinking of dropping the tension down to the lower 50s. Maybe string both at 50lb-52lbs.

My question is - has anyone ever tried dropping this much tension in a hybrid before? What are your experiences?
