all speeds will be 27' and 100sq.
speed pro is 18 x 20 and 315g speed mp is 16 x 19 and 300g and the balance is 31 for one of them and 31 1/3 for the other. i forgot which is which, didnt have time to take pics on my phone, too busy recovering from a very bruising match.

There is also an S version, a REV version (even lighter, something like 230g-250g) and a PWR version. I don't know the other specs. Talked to the rep tonight who said he didn't know what the stiffness was for any of the racquets. The big thing they are marketing is the polarized weight distribution which makes the racquets swing bigger than you would think based on the static weight.
For me probably the biggest difference is the increased stability and the decreased vibration compared to the current gen. The first racquet I like playing with without a vibration dampener. |

Looks like someone's trying to give the blade a run for its money...

I wonder whether the new speed mould is the same as the old radical pro before the ig change made it redundant?

I believe 11.7 oz.
I saw our Head rep today and got a prototype paint job of the Speed MP. Man, this thing looks and feels sick! I immediately strung it at our shop with Head's new textured black poly and hit the courts. If you are looking for a more player oriented tweener type of frame then this is it. My playing partner who played D1 and is the Head Womens Coach at his Alma Mater said my balls had a lot of spin, heaviness, and jump to them that the current racquets I'm testing don't have. I think a lot of that is due to Head moving some of the weight to the head of the racquet. It still swings fast and in turn hits a pretty heavy ball for its weight. Oh, and the move from the round head shape to the more oval shape is a huge improvement. I think Head has a real winner on their hands this year. |
