Default Talk tennis mobile app. Is there one?

Sorry if this has already been addressed, as I'm sure it has, but I'm too lazy to search the threads. Your thoughts?

Only forum app I know of (and use) is Tapatalk, which isn't free.

i don't have a data plan on my smart phone, so the world of mobile apps is new to me.

But I'm confused: if you have a data plan, why not just use your browser to load the talktennis webpage like you do on your regular computer?

how would a mobile app change things?

Tapatalk is really good and worth the 3$ in my opinion. I use it to access a number of other forums. I actually prefer it to browsing tt from my PC .

A mobile app is customized for a smaller screen and will have better navigation between screens and a good font size and frame for reading, i.e. you don't have to zoom in and out and/or possibly scroll sideways to read messages. Furthermore, an app such as Tapatalk might have links to all your favorite message boards, i.e. Talk Tennis, an MMA forum, an Android forum, etc. If you read forums frequently, it makes the experience so much better!

Oh ya, one thing I forgot to mention is apps such as Tapatalk are NOT compatible with all message boards, i.e. that particular app might not work for your favorite movie board or something. I think forums need to be designed to allow compatibility with Tapatalk, which does seem to be the gold standard for forum reading. Anyway, because of that, some sites like to have their own custom app which would obviously have a good forum reader. FWIW, I'm not aware of a Talk Tennis or Tennis Warehouse app, but then again I haven't looked for one.
