Hi
Just looking for some help with tension. Currently using ruff code @ 23kg (full bed). Have the black code to try should I use the same tension? Thanks Rich |

I used Black Code 18 @ 27.5kg and it was great. I don't know about lower tensions yet but I am curious too.
What gauge and tension does Tipseravic use? |

what racket are you using? I had black code in my BLX 90 at 53 lbs and that felt like heaven. Once it dies you'll know, the poly will stiffen up and the easy power will be gone. I think mine died after about 10-12 hours of play time, so not too shabby at all.

I would just pick a nice round number, like 25kg or 50lb, and roll with it.

so i should string higher than the ruff code?
my racket is a very old Wilson, same mold as the 6.0.95 16x18 strung weight 360g, if i normally string poly higher than 23kg i lose the feel of the string bed and just feels horrible to me. Was interested to know if the Black code would have a similar feel to the ruff code or is i would need to adjust the tension . |

I saw that Goldenset has a version of Black Code too called Power Cord.
Anyone has tried it before? It's like only $3.66/set if you get a 660 reel. btw, will TW be carrying Pro's Pro strings? Can't seem to find a US Retailer that carries Black Out.

I found Ruff Code to be stiffer than Black Code. I would up the tension a pound or two to make it a similar feel. But, I would try Pro's Pro Blackout too. It is very similar to Black Code but much cheaper.
