Probably a Federer fan upset at Federer's Olympics/US Open performance. You know the standards they hold Federer to....

Yeah, he would be my first choice as well (honestly, some of the stuff the guy said about Fed and his daughters is quite simply sick).

Hard to say though, it could be any of our resident whackjobs with a phatological hatred for Fed like LOLville, the Dork Knight, ********* etc.

Of course, assuming said person (who sent Fed a death thread) is a poster here which I personally think is the case.

Obviously he doesn't have the sense to realize that Federer is on his last legs, on the verge of retirement, wounded and tired, so is really not a threat to any other player.

Unless he is trying to protect the '6 times YE #1' stat . j/k.

So because Federer underperformed in those 2 tournaments, a desperate fan is going to kill him?

Nadal fans were never great in logic.

It's probably Fed himself, because he's annoyed that, even on hiatus from playing, Rafa still makes more news here in TW. He's just craving for more attention. Such a Diva, Fed is.
How arrogant of him.

Agreed, it's not necessarily a Nadal fan as some people pointed out, since Federer never really 'wrecked' Nadal's career (Nadal already thoroughly dominates Federer). Probably a Federer fan who wasted his money on him winning those tournaments (Federer fans love to gamble).

Surely if that was the case, they'd have sent a picture of a bloodied, but bigger Wilson racquet?

Nadal fans were never great in logic.
Firstly, 99% of threats are nothing more than threats. Secondly, nobody is harder on their player than Federer fans are on Federer. Thirdly, most stalkers walk the line between love and hate for their subject.

Exactly, Federer is the last player I'd want to see retire. Since 2008, both Murray and Djokovic have been more of a threat to Rafa at the slams.

So as a Rafa fan, you mean you want Rafa to further slaughter Fed on a tennis court. How cruel can you be ?
