I think he would have believed it. He was confident in his play even then (though I will say the reason I went from a comparatively modest Agassi/Safin/Moya/Williams sisters fan to a crazed girl for tennis was the FEDAL rivalry. Even the greatest must have someone to play.)

But yes, that sweatshirt -- terrible.

(Roger did an interview for Vogue where he said he was grateful to Mirka for sparking his interest in fashion -- that he enjoyed being able to put on a good suit and both feel comfortable and look nice -- because up to that point he'd only been interested in his tennis.)
