He strikes again. Took out Berdych 7-5 6-4 just a sec ago in Tokyo.

Go Soeda has markedly improved. Maybe he's the guy you're looking for.

Another good win for Nishikori, I guess his style isn't everyone's cup of tea. It isn't mine at least.

No he is not. other than Kei, they all choke in big matches. perfect example is 2 weekends ago in davis cup.

If nishikori can cut out some unnecessary losses, he could be top 10

I feel that injuries is his main problem. Every year he seems injured at one of the slams.

I got to watch Nish warm up and stood right next to him. He is pretty undersized..more than I thought he would be. That could be an issue in slams as I think he has to grind his points a little more and loses steam in the later sets.

Kei reminds me a lot of Djokovic, very agile, very good mover, similar techniques. I think Kei can be top 5 if he stays healthy, he's a remarkable player who has the ability to stun and shock, like when he won his first title in Delray Beach beating Blake in the final and the win over Ferrer at the US Open on Armstrong in five sets. Those were amazing wins. Kei has the capability to defy logic and amaze.

He is talented but too short for a tennis player. top ten material, but will probably never win bigger tournaments. I like his movement and court coverage.

Japan used to be a huge and promising market for tennis back in the 70īs and 80īs...it would be good that Nakashori could help to get back to it.

I saw his interviews before the tournament -- I know he wanted to do well during the Asian swing. Rafa said he had the skills to be a Top Ten player. How do you say "Vamos!" in Japanese?

- longevity of career/experience - concentration abilities - opponents faced - surface specialty (ies) I mean, there are a lot of reasons why a given player isn't in a given place, and they have as much to do with who else is surrounding that player in the rankings as they do with the player himself.
