Just to clarify, these are the hardcourts. Don't quite understednd where the clay idea came from...

Bear with me here, but even animals know to use a non-marking sole on clay courts. Clearly these are hard courts.

Why are the tracks so highlighted? Fake? Or, did someone dust the tracks?

Yeah, after there was a concer that a bear was on the court RCMP came to "take the prints" and dusted the tracks.
There is a dirt road, between those benches just outside the court and the forest. Bruin had to cross that to enter the court = dusty paws.

Aha! So, Dudley DoRight showed up to dust for paw prints. No doubt the bear has a criminal record.

Unlike those other places, Vancouver is a major metropollitan area...
I remember Vancouver had a huge problem with Bruins a couple of years ago. There were even riots about it, as I recall.
