Default How much string is needed to...

Exactly how much is needed to string the mains and crosses of a 100 sq. in. (16x19) racquet?

I'm planning to experiment on a hybrid job on my racquets. What if I buy a single set (40 ft.) would that be enough to string the mains of two racquets? What about the crosses? Not looking to buy reels yet, so...

I don't exactly understand what you're asking us here. If you wanna hybrid, cut the 40 ft in two (20-20) and each of those 20 feet can do the mains of one racquet each. I hope that helped

I just thought the mains would require more strings than the crosses? or vice versa?

mains do almost always require more string than the crosses, that said most racquets main string can be done with 20ft or less(aka half the set)

heres a nice website that shows you how much string you need for your racquet http://www.klipperusa.com/stringing/manufacturers.php

20ft should be fine for a Pure Drive.
