Default Awkward tie off hole for last cross

I've run into the same problem with a couple rackets… Wilson n4, and a Prince Air O.

The last cross ties off at 11B which practically intersects the outside main. This leaves almost no room to tie off without rubbing against that main. I attempted a pro knot which lies under the main, but I can't help but wonder if a mishit to that area might put too much force on the knot and snap one or both strings. Unlikely, but possible?

When I received the n4 it was strung one piece with the bottom cross tied off at 6B. However this time the client wanted a hybrid so 6B was taken by both mains.

Has anyone else had to deal with this situation? I'd like to know a better solution in case I run into this problem again.

Thanks for any tips offered.

I haven't strung either racquet... but on any racquet, especially for a final cross tie-off... you can use any hole/grommet you like... the final tie-off is a factory suggestion (they probably know best), but if there is a larger grommet hole near 11B which gives you more room from the intersection of a main... use it.

Use a small knot, like a Wilson Pro knot. It's small and hold very well.

I make sure the anchor string is above the main so I can title the knot and it easily slide ove the main when tying.

Thanks for the replies. I did use a pro knot, but under the main, so basically tied it upside down. It held well, just looks funky so close to that main.

11B is the only enlarged hole, but my preference would be to string a racket like this one piece and tie off at 6B from now on.
