It's so stiff that it provides NO useful dampening at all.
Ping! Ping! Ping! It's like having no dampener at all. It's nothing like the red or black Sampras O damp which are good (particularly the softer red one). Tourna need to sort out their manufacturing because someone's put the wrong mixture into the machine at the factory. |

i like the soft red ones, but i even got one that was stiffer than the rest, as you describe. maybe not as stiff as the white one, who knows.

agreed
I started getting the Babolat ones (square) with the re-moveable center for more or less dampening. ' nice and soft and has little cleats to prevent popping out |

These, along with my Babolat Loony Damp fishbowl, are my favorite dampeners. Both do much better than Wilson Smiley faces.

I notice the red one has more of a tendency to fall off. Does anyone else notice that?
It seems to me the stiffer black one is reasonably secure enough to stay on. |

Comical. All these tings do is dampen the sound! Do some research and you will realize that these things are useless and basically a placebo.

Not a placebo or useless if all you expect them to do is dampen the sound.

I contacted tourna and they apologized and sent me free dampeners. One was white, and it is soft as it should be. Works as expected. There was a run of hard O damps that really sucked, but they fixed the issue.

How hard is the white compared to the black and the red?

Red one was always the softest one in my experience.
