I would use Sonic Pro in my Prestige Mid only as cross, with synthetic or natural gut mains. For mains Dunlop Black Widow proved to be the best choice, as it really helps to grab the ball and roll it to the other side. You will never go back to full Sonic Pro after you hit with Black Widow.

wow interesting.... just posted in the racquets section my set up on my PC600s
really prefer having VS nat gut mains/ RPM crosses @ 58/56lbs setup over the VS guts mains/Alu Rough crosses @ 55/53lbs set up. the feel and playability to me is better on the first combi but having said that... I am expecting delivery of a pair of PP600 and likewise looking at different setups. kinda determined to stick with nat gut mains/poly crosses.... |

than along comes the prestige pro from yesteryear and made the mistake to playtest the rackets. it was love at first sight and i have since acquired a third one. i´m not sure that a full poly setup is the best solution for this flexible racquet, so that is why i´m looking into different set-ups.
