on one hand ITF pushes wimbledon back by one week

and on the other hand players who complain about long calender have time and energy for expo...... they never pull out of expo due to injury

apart from french open, federer has lost only one us open final, only one wimbledon final, only one australain open final and only one YEC final, appear in 18 grand slam finals out of 19 consecutive grand slam appearence (2005 wimbledon to 2010 austrlaian), lost two consecuitve finals (2008 french open & wimbledon) only once during this stretch, never lost 3 consecuitve finals during this stretch.

on the other hand nadal has lost 3 consecutive grand slam finals (2011 wimbledon, 2011 us open and 2012 australian open) out of 5 consecuitve final appearences (2011 french open to 2012 french open)
