Stefan Edberg Sportmanship Award:
Del Potro, he is consistently one of the best in this department. He has some minor issues with calls but is always gracious in victory and defeat. Most Improved Player of the Year: Monaco, but I'm not as sure about this one. Newcomer of the Year: Klizan, but Griffin isn't too far behind. Comeback Player of the Year: I'll go with Baker, but Haas has been impressive as well. Last edited by NadalDramaQueen : 10-23-2012 at 06:43 PM. |

Stefan Edberg Sportmanship Award
Roger Federer...12 years in a row....won't lose this award till he retires. Most Improved Player of the Year Jeremy Chardy (103-31). Would like to say Juan Monaco....but Chardy and Soeda were huge suprises. Newcomer of the Year David Goffin.....He was hyped and loved for his Federer fantasism. Comeback Player of the Year Brian Baker (456-62) Because of the Amercian Media hype, and the actual severity before his comeback. I never thought there was a guy who was hurt more by injuries than Tommy Haas, but I have been wronged. Tommy Haas had plenty of his comebacks. Matheiu as well.

Sorry my mistake. I misread that as Fan Favorite award which he won 12 times in a row.
Federer will win Sportman, Fan Fave and Player of the Year.

I never understand how Federer has won the Sportsmanship award. He has seemingly never applauded a nice shot of his opponents or said "good shot." He often seems to make excuses in defeat.
I think he should win most improved this year. |

As it is, I would give the sportsmanship award to Delpo, or Fed The rest in order: Goffin, Baker, and Monaco. |
