Hey, which of these strings would you say is "better"?
I am currently using Pro Line X, is it nice and all, but they are similar priced, so would one be better than the other? The Pro Line X is definitely a nice string, although a tad too low power for me, which can be corrected with lower tension next time. Other than that, it is not too bad of a string. What are the major differences between the two, aside from color?

If you think the PLX is low powered then you'll be disappointed with the spiky shark. I'm currently using it right now and I have to say, even at 48lbs, it's really low powered...like really low powered.
I've had three hitting sessions with the SS and it's alright in terms of spin but the power isn't there. The PLX has a crisp feeling with decent spin but like you said it has it's flaws in the power department. I say, stick with the PLX and play with the tension as you said.

Proline X is a control oriented string. I would consider Spiky Sharka medium to medium-high powered poly. You should notice a bit more power with it.

On the Vcore tour I liked Proline X better. I found Spiky Shark a little dull.
Of course all this is very relative/subjective and also frame dependent.
