Oh, yeah, I had fully intended to put Stray Cats in my list above. Never saw them in concert, but one of my favorites just the same.

However, for Australians mainly, anyone who has seen COG play in a small venue might argue they are the greatest of them all.

(yes I'm making lists!)

Seeing them in Brooklyn last week performing Body Electric, Analog Kid, Force Ten and Manhattan Project made my life so much more complete. Even after already seeing them 20 times.

These guys at age 60 are true GOATs.

Epic beauty of Rush. Greatest band ever.

It was so inspiring and emotional being a huge fan of Neil, seeing him bounce back after losing his daughter then wife 6 months later (she died of 'a broken heart' after they lost Selena).

If you have a chance to see the current tour I highly recommend not missing it.
I may go to Vegas to see tail end of this tour. Hard to believe they're 60 years old. Rocking hard. Epic.

For me it's Rush and it's not even close. They just have a sound that I can't seem to find replicated by anyone else. Heck, bands with 2 or 3 times as many members can't even come close. I'm actually jamming to them right now while I work on my website.

I did have a major facepalm moment when it came to Rush recently. I was out with the family for a birthday dinner, and on the way home the local rock station is playing all of these Rush songs. Then I hear that they're playing in Philly that night!!! I felt like a total idiot. I'm an hour outside Philly, and the thought of seeing Rush on my birthday just blew my mind. It didn't help that my birthday sucked and not realizing there was a Rush concert made it worse.

Rock on guys!
Haven't heard a lot of Budgie, but what I have is damn good.

Tony Bourge is such an underrated guitarist!

They had already added Craig Frost on keyboards for this album (produced by Todd Rundgren BTW), making the trio (Farner/Brewer/Schacher) a foursome. Closer To Home was their most popular album as a trio and it ROCKS! Pull it up sometime and be impressed.
