Hello,
I'm new to this forum. I have a question for you guys if you don't mind So, I'm trying to buy a new racquet [Wilson BLX Blade 98] this week. I normally go for my first serve a lot (around 110mph for my first serve), and I would like to get more pops in my serve. Do you know which string would give a lot of pop on my serve? I'm considering Luxilon ALU Power, Luxilon M2 Pro, and Babolat RPM Blast 16 String Thanks so much for your help!! |

Do you have arm issues?
What tensions do you normal string at? Just pop? Spin? Feel?

The most important question is what string are you using now?

IMO, out of the three, M2 Pro for sure. Nice power for flat serves and effective spin for kick serves. I found the other 2 to go dead too quickly.

Well, M2 pro is actually a really nice string and does have good control power and adequate spin and is easy on the arm... Then it has a tension drop and becomes a rocket launcher
I would say its most likely the best choice if you're just interested in your serve but it won't stay playable for long... |

After there is a drop in the tension balls start coming off the racket and going long, often very long. It becomes uncontrollable more or less...

if you can afford it RPM blast is great but it dies really fast, so you will be restringing often.

Gut is the most powerful string on the market. Since you are used to full poly jobs, going to full gut would be moving from one end of the string world to the other. Perhaps a gut/poly hybrid with gut in the mains might be a good solution for you to try.
