Default Jo Wilfried Tsonga-David Ferrer Paris QF 2012

I was joking a bit in the poll options, but I'm really interested for this match.

Only match in the quarter-finals with top 10 players. The winner of this match has a good chance for the finals and a possible title.Tsonga played two finals in Paris and won one, Ferrer lost three Masters finals, one on HC.

They played two times, never on hard court. Ferrer won first match in Rome 2010 and Tsonga got revenge in Wimbledon 2011! No doubt, one of the most important matches in their careers!

Your call?

Ferrer tanks first set. Tsonga tanks second. Third set will be a struggle of who can out tank the other.

Your poll options are brilliant

I went for Tsonga tanking in 3.

I'm torn between who I want to win because I like Ferrer and it would be great for him to win a masters. On the other hand I'm not a huge fan of his game, and I really like Tsonga's game..

Wait, if you pick Tsonga to tank in 3, doesn't that mean he loses?

Tsonga has been spraying UEs everywhere this tournament. He's only been winning because his opponents have been easy. I think Ferrer has a very good chance of winning this match. I'd put it at 50/50 right now, but I'll say Ferrer in 3.

Going for Tsonga in this one - felt before the tourny he could win it; he really should now given the dropouts

Tsonga always plays well in Paris, he is slight favourite in this match!

anyone that mentions tank and ferrer in the same sentence might need a check-up...he'll want his first masters, don't see why jo wouldn't want it either..after all, why would either one be confident they would make up for the loss by winning london?

Yea, no way Ferrer would tank here. He's going for like his 7th title of the year isn't he?

I'm just kidding, I know that David was one of the greatest fighters in tennis. But the word "tank" has marked this tournament, at least on the forum...

Yes that would be his 7th in this season and biggest title in career!
