I had this poly string in the 1.24 gauge in white. strung it up at 42/40 and it came off the stringer right at 41.
First impressions were average, but I was happy with the spin and control, and this was my first go at low tension poly in a while, so there was an adjustment. By day 2 I was very pleased with this string. It barely had lost any tension, and I was able to do anything I wanted with the ball and felt confident. It has a good amount of power so if you hit with a lot of racquet head speed, but use a heavier stick and a more relaxed swing, this setup is awesome. The sweetspot feel is crisp and rich as opposed to SPPP which is thicker and plush. I find the gosen a lot more comfortable. In fact the SPPP clone (pros pro) could not even touch this stuff. If you like a crisp and Comfortable poly this is a real good option for the price. Tension loss after 7 or 8 hours is only 7 pounds as opposed to the pros pro which lost 8 pounds after less than an hour of hitting. I still have no string movement and probably another hour or so left before it dies, but that is really nice. Comfort, price, crisp feel, great tension maintenance. Definitley try this out if you are looking for those attributes.

I have been using Gamma polybreak 1.20 (18 gauge) for the past 6 months or so and have used in the 40 range in a full set up. I agree with Power players assessment completely, String bed is crisp and predictable, no movement and does maintain tension well , I will use between 7-10 hours. I also have recently tried this in a hybrid with Gosen OG micro 18. In that set up you do feel more ball bite but you get more string movement.Currently have both set ups and not sure which one I will stay with. I have been getting reels of this at a great price and will use this string for a while. Well worth a try.

Wanted to update as this string crept up on me and has become my go to. I believe it to be an incredible match in my flexier stick. I absolutely love the feel of it and just can not find a complaint. Every other poly I tried had me wanting polybreak back.
Glad I found this string. It was a complete accident.

Actually I have not. But I will add that the poly break plays best for me in a full job not a hybrid.

I'm using polyquest as a full job as well. Didn't feel the need for a hybrid since I feel the ball just fine with it, there's less movement and it's more durable this way.

I've used Polyquest (Polylon SP) for at least 3-4 years. Love the stuff.

PP, you still banging with the RDiS200? I'm thinking of trying to find my setup with the Yonex. I really want something crispy and good for my arm. I had a quick hit with PHT and found it hard to hit with. I'm actually thinking synth gut may be my holy grail to my dilemma, but have yet to try it.

The Gosen polyon line is really an overlooked and underated string. To Gosens credit, I really don't know how they make such a quality string for such a low price.
What I like about Gosens poly(besides and awesome price) is that it gives great feel and control up at net, not just on the baselline. I usually string full poly, and with other high end polys, I lose too much with touch shots and angles, especially when I play doubles. Gosens are very forgiving. If you decide to hybrid it on the mains, the power returns, but with that little bit of stiffness that keeps things under control that you don't get from nylon. Never had arm issues with Gosen playing 3+ hours with a 12.5 ounce racquet |

od1n - I am very curious about Polybreak vs Polyquest also. Have you used the 16 and 17 gauge in Polyquest? If so, which one do you like better? I've strung 17 and am going to try 16 next time. Maybe i'll buy a set of Polybreak so I can compare.

I think going over 1.27 mm (or maybe even 1.25) in gauge is overkill for me in a poly. I can't feel the ball that well...and the durability might be better, but I don't need it since by the time I break 1.23-1.25-1.27 poly it is likely that the poly is close to being worthless (dead/lost tension...etc) anyway...so I don't need EVEN MORE durability. I only use 1.30 to 1.35 mm thickness when it comes to synthetic gut/multi where durability is a bigger concern. With poly I usually go 1.23-1.25 whenever possible.

I also messed around with powergy mains and polybreak crosses setup and it does feel pretty good in that combo as well strung 22 /21 kilos, Strung another frame full poly at 22/21 in another PD and hit bombs with it. Will stay full poly for now. On a side note recently strung up a prostock blx blade 98 at 20/19 kilos and wow did not take me long to get used to this frame. Felt great could probably switch (lol) if I wasn't sposored. If you haven't yet try this string!!
