Here are two links to some rallying and points I've playing against friends over the summer and recently. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for the help! Sorry for the poor quality in some parts!

This is a tough one because you posted Jekyll and Hyde videos.
The second video, hitting only, shows a guy who's stiff and structured, but can hit pretty good shots on his forehand and 2hbh...wierdo slice. The first video shows lack of ball recognition, reaction only, late movement, and stunted strokes, so it's hard to tell the same person is in both videos. That the serves. Second video shows a guy who's got groundstroke technique down. First video shows serves at 3.0-3.5 levels, bad form, and lots of pushing serves. |

Way too open on the forehand on the second video.

I like; his neutral to open forehands. Promotes quicker recovery towards the middle, and allows full rotation of the shoulders on the followthru.

LeeD, can you please elaborate on the serving? You cut off mid sentence.
In the first video, I'm the one wearing the bright blue shorts if anyone needs help differentiating between the players. The second video is basically my progression since the first video. I definitely agree ground stroke form was bad and stiff in much of the first video.

Match footage is almost always more important. Practice shots aren't what you use in a match until you get to a pretty high level.
Bit overreliant on the slice? Forehand LOOKS nice, but for all we know, when you get into a match, it could revert to the forehand in your first video. Also, pick ONE backhand and stick with it... AND HIT IT! Your backhand is clearly the shot to pick on. All you do is slice it.

Yes, I see where you're coming from FullCourt.
I definitely admit that I am a bit reliant on the backhand slice because I find that when I actually hit it, it is not a reliable shot. When I do try to hit it, the ball does not strike the sweet spot as often as I like. Also, I can't generate enough spin for some reason to keep it in the court. Sometimes my flat drives work while sometimes it might land two feet out of the court. I used an eastern backhand grip so any tips to fix my backhand would be much appreciated! As for forehand, it stays pretty much the same in my matches as with the 2nd video. It does not break down unlike my backhand at times. Any comments on serve?

Stop hitting slices, and hit every damn shot in practice as a backhand. Run around forehands too! There's nowhere to go but up.
